Penelope Hume (本姓: Widmore) 是Desmond的妻子，亦是Widmore的女兒和Faraday的同父異母妹妹。Penny是一名富家女，她與Desmond在修道院認識後便開始交往。儘管父親如何地反對，Penny仍然與Desmond相愛，但是後來Desmond決定與她斷絕來往，令她傷心欲絕，於是她便嘗試把Desmond的一切都給忘記掉，可是並不成功。數年後Desmond在參加帆船比賽時離奇失蹤，因此Penny便開始四處尋找Desmond的蹤影，而最終她更調查到小島和貨船的事來。之後Penny亦與815航班的生還者Charlie通過話，從中她更得知Desmond仍然在生的事實。
