在闪回中，正在一个等待室里等着。心理医生Harper到了以后，两人开始讨论为什么Juliet成为了关注的焦点还有为什么这使她赶到不舒服。突然，Tom出现了，并把Juliet带到了Ben那里。他们离开了心里医生在Barracks的办公室以后，Ben向Juliet展示了他的欢迎礼物——一间她私人的两室一厅房子附带音乐选集。当Juliet说：“你不用作这些，我是说，我就呆6个月”("You didn't have to do all this, I mean, I'm only here for six months")的时候，Ben用怀疑的语气回答“对”。
几个月后，Juliet正在她的办公室为病人Henrietta的死而啜泣，这时Goodwin进来叫她帮忙处理他在发电站碰到变压器后造成的烧伤。她说了些挖苦Harper的话，没想到Goodwin就是她的老公。Jiuliet就对Goodwin说：“不要告诉你的妻子我说得话，也不要和别人说你对你的伤撒谎了。我决不会看错化学烧伤。”
Juliet正在她的办公室和Ben讨论岛上的孕妇的问题时，Goodwin高兴地撞进门来并对Juliet大声说话。当他看见Ben的时候，他变得很尴尬，然后离开了。Ben很疑惑地抬头看Juliet，心里清楚了他们的关系。Template:Crossref

Later, Goodwin and Juliet are on a private date at a beach far from the Barracks. Goodwin says he wants to tell everyone about their relationship, and that his wife already knows, but Juliet is terrified of what Ben will do. Goodwin laughs dismissively. The scene immediately cuts to the crash of Flight 815 from the perspective of the barracks. Template:Crossref Ben's first action upon spotting the plane is to tell Goodwin he needs to go undercover in their group. Juliet and Goodwin exchange worried glances.
Ben invites Juliet to a dinner party, which turns out to be a private date between the two of them. Having tricked her into an evening alone with him, he becomes angered when she mentions Goodwin.
In the final flash, Ben takes Juliet to see Goodwin's body impaled upon the wood stake. Template:Crossref Ben reveals he knows about their affair; Juliet accuses him of deliberately sending Goodwin on a suicide mission. She asks why he would do this; and he responds with only "Because you're mine."

Juliet正在海滩上支帐篷，Sun走过去帮忙。她问Juliet已经要离开小岛了，为什么还要费劲支帐篷。此时Jack走来，问大家看到Daniel和Charlotte没，两人似乎从前一晚开始就不见了，Jack为此感到不安。Jin提供线索说他看到两人往丛林深处去了，他当时没有在意，因为Jack告诉大家“他们是朋友”。Jack和Juliet开始追踪他们的下落。
Juliet走在丛林中，忽然听到耳语声。她四下张望，看到Harper就站在身后。原来她是替Ben来向她传达消息的：Daniel和Charlotte正在去暴风站(the Tempest)的路上，Juliet必须去阻止他们打开毒气阀门，必要时必须把两人干掉，否则等两人研究出如何释放毒气，岛上的每一个人都会死去。Juliet问Harper为什么不自己去阻止，Harper回答说这是Ben的意思，尽管Ben落在Locke手上并被囚禁着，但是正是因为Ben愿意呆在那里。Jack冲出来打断两人对话，他用枪指着Harper问她是谁，她说自己是Juliet的老朋友，前来告诉Juliet他们寻找的两人的下落，并说Jack最好和Juliet一起去寻找那两个人。说完后，Harper突然趁乱消失了。
徒劳搜索Harper一阵后，Juliet转告Jack她所知道的信息。Jack问什么是"暴风站(The Tempest)"，Juliet说为了他的安全起见最好不谈这个话题，Jack坚持知道真相。Juliet才说它是一个给小岛供电的发电站。Jack问Dan和Charlotte为什么会去发电站，逼Juliet透露更多信息，Juliet避而不答，只是哀求Jack帮她，然后转身往发电站方向出发。
Daniel和Charlotte在丛林深处的一处消息停下休息。Daniel似乎对某事有所疑惑，他问Charlotte："万一我干不了呢？"，Charlotte非常认真的直视Dan并告诉他她相信他能做到，然后建议继续前进。Daniel看上去有了信心。忽然Kate出现，Charlotte立即拔枪相对，Daniel却说Kate没有危险。Kate告诉他们关于Miles的情况，说尽管Miles被Locke扣下，但是很安全。Kate问两人在丛林里干什么，Charlotte撒谎说卫星电话没电了，他们来找以前从直升飞机上扔在丛林中的包裹取电池。Kate不太相信，要求Daniel给她看他的背包里的东西，Dan打开背包让Kate检查，Kate发现里面居然有毒气面罩，就在此时，Charlotte忽然出手打晕Kate。
Jack和Juliet在丛林中边走边谈论Harper。Juliet透露说她曾是自己的精神医生，因为作为TO的一员压力是很大的。Jack却觉得Harper看上去敌意非常大。两人交换对于自己想要忘却的过去的想法，Jack说Juliet已经从他的档案里了解到了，Juliet回复说：“Jack,相信我，你不会想要看到我的档案的。”

在TO的驻地，Ben正和Locke在地下室谈话，他试图以透露Locke想要的信息为条件让Locke允许他从地下室搬到房屋中去，Locke答应了。Ben打开卧室墙上装饰画后的保险箱，里面有一叠档案和一盘标着“红袜子”的录像带，录像带里录得是Kahana集团老板Charles Widmore（Penny的父亲）。Ben把他所收集的Charles档案交给Locke。Locke还有一个特殊要求想要知道究竟是谁在救援船上做他的内应。Ben答应告诉他，但先让他坐下才肯开口。

当Juliet，Daniel和Charlotte离开暴风站（The Tempest）时，正好遇见Jack和Kate。短暂冲突过后，Juliet告诉Jack"这些人是来和Ben作对的，但是他们斗不过Ben的，如果Ben赢得了胜利，那时候最好你离我远一些，因为Ben一直把我当作他的所有物，而他也知道我对你的感情。" Jack坚持不离开她，他吻了她。
