Name Meaning
- In Greek, Zoe means life. The names in LOST, have a huge importance so this is not a coincidence.
- Zoe is Jacob's daughter and is looking for the Smoke Monster because she knows he was responsible for Jacob's death.
if this is true why has she never been mentioned before and she seems to be a figure of some authority in Widmores camp yet has never appeared before ... i hope the producers are not randomly adding people just to make the stories fit together at the end
- If this were true, then LOST would be the worst show on television. The writers are better than that. As much mystery as they keep us shrouded in, they are good about developing the characters appropriately. For her to be anything but a glorified Red Shirt with a few speaking lines would be a failure. It was bad enough introducing the whole temple element (with new characters) in the final season, but it's just way too late now to bring any more into the game.
Reasons for Being on the Island
- She is Emma and Zach's mother who was supposed to meet them in LA. She is working for Widmore in order to find her children.
