Welcome to Lostpedia!

Hey there, TomCaruso. When you post messages to talk pages, please remember to sign your remarks by typing four tildes (~~~~) or by using the Button sig button on the edit toolbar. Thanks and happy editing!  Robert K S   tell me  04:15, June 14, 2010 (UTC)

Hi... you'll also want to learn how to use the {{ep}} template when putting in episode names. Thanks!  Robert K S   tell me  13:31, June 14, 2010 (UTC)

Secend request. You failed to sign your post on Talk:Dave--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 13:02, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

Is there some sort of penalty for this, because I can pretty much garauntee that unless I write it on a sticky note and stick it to my screen, I'll forget in the future...

Then write it on a sticky note on your screen. To help you remember, I'm giving you a 30-day break. I'm tired of signing your posts, and it's rude and inconsiderate for you to believe yourself exempt from a simple rule that most everybody else seems able to follow. Next time, it'll be a 60-day break, then 90, etc.  Robert K S   tell me  15:50, August 5, 2010 (UTC)

  • WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! That is actually quite horrible of you to do that to him/her! I mean, you want him/her to sign their posts, but how is he/her going to learn if you ban them for 30 days, they are just going to forget even more! And you are taking this a bit too seriously. Banned for 30 days for forgetting to sign a post.

And off subject. I think you administrators need to sort out your 'banning' system. I mean, I have seen somebody being banned for 'infinite' because they accidentally put incorrect information on pages. And then, somebody else got banned for 30 days for direct vandalism. And now someone else is getting 30 days just for forgetting a post. You really need to sort it out, it is crazy! JinKwon4eva 17:01, August 5, 2010 (UTC) Please reply.

I can't speak too much to the inequities in the ban system, and this isn't the right forum. But I am satisfied that Tom's refusal to sign his posts is intentional and wanton, rather than being a mere case of forgetting. Even as he posts the "warning" that he'll "forget in the future", he forgets to sign? We don't have a sinebot like Wikipedia does (and it's not to be borrowed or bought--I've asked) so until we do we're reliant on SysOps to keep talk page posting orderly. It's a big job and Tom just makes it bigger. It's unfair to everyone.  Robert K S   tell me  16:13, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

It's unfair because everyone makes a big deal about it. HAPPY? TomCaruso 03:07, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
