Jacob's Enemy

What's your canon scource? The spoiler policy says we can't post the information here, but you can still post a link.-- Roobydo  talk  contribs  08:31, 16 May 2009

Thanks, I put it back on my talk page, but I hid the link, so we're all good.-- Roobydo  talk  contribs  21:46, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
No problem. I don't think it's a spoiler issue though, he say's he can't be sure of anything, and actor interviews aren't canon anyway. In my opinion, it's no more of a spoiler than our theory pages. Also, it's against policy to remove anything from a talk page. If you change your mind, you can go back and strikethrough, but editing anything other than format/typos is frowned upon.-- Roobydo  talk  contribs  13:29, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Merhraba Paintbox

My grandmother is actually Turkish though I don't speak the language, though I really hope to speak it one day. I've been twice to Turkey, once in Izmir and once in Kushadasi. I only know few words in Turkish, mainly because of the many words used in Bitola (where I'm from) that have Turkish origin. I'm really flattered that you decided to congratulate me on my contributions. --Orhan94 16:46, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Well... it's been a while and I haven't gotten a reply from her so I removed the links to her interview because chances are that she'll never reply with the answers. I'm sorry. --Orhan94 14:17, December 4, 2009 (UTC)

Well you may be right though if I remember correctly Flocke said "I'm not a what I'm a who" or something like that. I think that's enough of an evidence to accept "Smokey is The Man in Black" over "The Man in Black is Smokey". Therefore the Monster mystery is solved, but not The Man in Black's though if other evidence arise in the following eps I think we can always revert the Monster mystery to partially solved. --Orhan94 19:43, February 6, 2010 (UTC)

I don't know about Isobel, but Nadia's death I consider it answered. We shouldn't doubt a shows answer unless we have a reason for suspicion, ex. the guilty party for the fake wreckage was a mystery that was left partially answered even after some characters stated who it was because they were contradictory, unlike this one in which we don't have a single reason to doubt that Widmore had Bakir kill her. --Orhan94 17:36, February 10, 2010 (UTC)

How come Juliet's resemblance is not a mystery. We don't who she resembles according to Harper. we also don't know that person's significance to Ben.--Krank1 07:25, February 28, 2010 (UTC)

you are technically right, so for now, we can leave it at partially solved. That being said "Daniel" is hardly a mystery and I think in coming episodes it will be blatantly obvious that MIB can take the form of both dead people and people's memories. I.e. he had no access to Emeka or Isbella's bodies (although they are both dead) and he appeared as them. I mean, are you really going to argue that the monster was responsible for 99% of the on-Island visions, but that one, insignificant vision of a random kid was caused by something else, and just coincidentally appeared in the midst of all the monster's visions....

that being said, we haven't received in-show confirmation that the monster can take any form, but I'm sure he can and I'm sure we will. He scans people's memories, he can appear as anything from them. I would bet you that Dave, Ben's Mom, Daniel, Walt, etc....all the monster. But I guess we'll wait and see.

I'm also a spoiler follower, so yeah I knew that. Hmm...if Walt wasn't MIB, what was he? The "taller ghost Walt" that appeared to Locke had to be MIB. Locke has clearly been a pawn this whole time and that was probably MIB manipulating him into killing Naomi and such. The Walt seen by Shannon I don't know.... the whole backwards-talking, dripping-wet feels like TPTB were just trying to be weird and didn't really have an answer...and now that they've effectively written Walt out of the show, we probably won't get an answer to that.

Well I'm pretty sure that Christian on the freighter was Flocke as we know that he can leave the Island while in non-Monster form, and that the one in "Something Nice Back Home" was just a hallucination induced by Jack's. I changed it because I don't believe we would get a better answer to that mystery after what Flocke stated in "The Last Recruit". You could change it if you like but I personally considered it a solved mystery so I changed it back to solved. It's your choice. On second thought, maybe we should keep it as partially solved at least until we get an answer to how far may MiB leave in non-Monster form. --Orhan94 10:01, April 22, 2010 (UTC)
