I have heaps of good theories, but the problem is that i keep forgetting what they are, or have trouble finding the best category to put them under.
Hi, you're right that some versions of the Staff and Arrow logos are seen with breaks in the borders, but these are merely there because a stencil was used. All other occurrences of the logos have complete borders. Altering them is a significant change to Lostpedia and should probably be discussed with the community on the relevant talk pages.--TechNic|talk|conts 11:53, 26 March 2008 (PDT)
- Your probably right
I never noticed, until i looked at the photos history, and realised that earlier ones had the breaks, i thought there may be some significance to it, as the other stations i the show were not like that, that was all —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nzoomed (talk • contribs) .
Dude, ain't it enough with the logos? The General Usage Policy (see LP:General Usage:Blocking/Banning) says not to keep redoing changes reverted by other users. Your logos keep being reverted and now you change the original images? That's borderline vandalism--but of course, we should assume good faith. I'm not an administrator or anything, I just happen to have the station pages in my watchlist and I'm getting sick of seeing the same changes over and over again. So basically: If you think something's wrong, change it. But if it's constantly being reverted, please discuss it on the talk page as there is a slight possibility that you might be wrong somehow. When people revert your logos they even write their reasons, if you have read them, you would've seen that they were right. Thanks. -- 04:58, 29 March 2008 (PDT)
- Just to be clear, I'm not an administrator, nor do I have any authority on the site. I'm sorry if I sounded aggressive; I was merely warning you about insistence. As I said I really did assume good faith, but I'm not that good at sounding friendly, even if my intentions are so. Anyway, there's no problem with changing what you think is wrong, it's just that if you keep being "corrected", even if you think you're right, you should discuss it to avoid a possible edit war. I had no problem with the edits on the articles, but changing the images was a tad too far imo, so I decided to drop by. I'm glad that it's been settled. Peace :) -- 06:32, 30 March 2008 (PDT)
