General discussion

Hey, Michaelisinthecoffin. Welcome to Lostpedia! I reverted your addition to Talk:Meet Kevin Johnson as it was not relevant to the improvement of the article Meet Kevin Johnson. Theories can go on the theory page, and theory discussion should go on the theory talk page. You can also check out the Lostpedia Forum for more general discussion. Cheers, and happy editing! Ah, sorry--you're a little late on that theory. Actually, I think the first editor to post it to Karl/Theories and Danielle Rousseau/Theories was... me. :-) Though it would seem to be a rather obvious one since Karl had just gotten finished saying he thought Ben was setting them up when his water bottle was given a new drinking hole. No guideline for that; some people like to keep threads together, but the nice thing about replying on the other person's talk page is that they get a new messages alert banner when they come back to the site. 31 long days. (I can't die, the Island wants me to watch more Lost.) Robert K S (talk) 09:59, 24 March 2008 (PDT)

Spider

It wasn't my addition regarding "spider=monster" but I'm happy to chime in on discussion!--Overworkedirish 14:31, 25 March 2008 (PDT)

Great find!

Yeah, that video is ridiculous. Robert K S (talk) 11:31, 26 March 2008 (PDT)

Thanks! I always wondered how exactly everything synced together. --Michaelisinthecoffin 06:32, 27 March 2008 (PDT)

I just watched that video. I've never seen it before. Pretty cool man. Lostbrotha 12:23, 4 June 2008 (PDT)

Theories

The way I read the theory policy, as soon as a theory is confirmed it is no longer a theory and so it should be simply wiped from the theory page. (No need to move it anywhere. Especially, it shouldn't be moved to the article page, verbatim, just to note that the theory has been confirmed. If this were the case, we'd have a ton of clutter.) However, I really don't have a strong opinion on this and I have no interest in enforcing it, because theory pages are no fun to police. So if you have a question or recommendation regarding the theory policy and its prosecution, I direct you to one of the admins whose specialty is the theory pages. Or maybe bring it up on the talk page for LP:TP. Cheers, Robert K S (talk) 14:44, 1 April 2008 (PDT)

Restricted areas

Yeah, basically protections against people putting up future-episode spoilers. Let me know what you want to edit and I'll temporarily unprotect it for you. Robert K S (talk) 22:07, 3 May 2008 (PDT)

Season 4 is temp. unlocked and I believe the S4 nav is up to date. Robert K S (talk) 12:17, 4 May 2008 (PDT)

Mira Furlan

No problem, I added a bit more detail and corrected the episode she was killed in. Thanks for the work! Robert K S (talk) 09:25, 8 May 2008 (PDT)

There is a deletion log

But it may only be viewable to admins, I'm not sure. Robert K S (talk) 07:53, 16 May 2008 (PDT)

I'm pasting the content of the article below. Froglars nominated it for deletion, saying it was more like a forum post than an article, and I agreed. There's nothing intelligible here, and it certainly doesn't meet theory policy. Robert K S (talk) 08:44, 16 May 2008 (PDT)

{{delete|Article is incomprehensible, not an actual theory and more suited to being a forum post.}} {{fanon}} {{rewrite|a complete overhaul, written in personal perspective, bad spelling and grammar}} ==Theory== This theory is not about what's going on in Lost, but about what might have been. "The Universe has its way of Course Correcting (said [[Ms. Hawking]]), maybe so does the writer's room. I think that the Lost mystery may have been solved already, maybe even several times, only the writers didn't give up on the show and are currently trying to stay one step ahead. This may be the result of the unexpected growth of fan sites and theories. I'm not talking about theories about why Jack's beard doesn't grow, but major debunked theories like Purgatory that got figured out too early. ==Examples== * For example the producers stated the there won't be any Time Traveling involved. Not sticking to this statement could be a result of another Theory that figured out the Mythology. **When was this stated? * Also, why would Desmond need all the mirrors to look up the hatch when Dharma clearly had up and running video surveillance. They could have just put a camera under the hatch. ** This could be because they didn't wont the Swan personal to suspect they're being monitored. {{Nav-Theories}}

So

You're stuck with quite a funny user name now. :-) Robert K S (talk) 21:00, 29 May 2008 (PDT)

Awesome. Robert K S (talk) 21:12, 29 May 2008 (PDT)

Penultimate

I am sorry, but "penultimate" means "next to last." You said "the final/penultimate" in the episode numbering discussion. That would mean "the final and next to last," which is a little confusing. Yes ... I have an English degree ... sorry. Jack Dutton 04:34, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Mystery in The Orchid

I just happened upon your user page and was reading your theories. I watched the video from the FDW scene looking for the objects you were talking about. It's the top of the ladder that Ben climbes down. Iburnedthemuffins 14:06, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Lostbook skin

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that the skin option you currently use, Lostbook, will no longer be available starting this Wednesday Oct 20th. We have recently updated our user interface, which you can learn more about here, and are no longer able to support the Lostbook skin. The Monobook skin, which is very similar to Lostbook, will remain as a personal option. You can move to that look by changing your skin option in your preferences. Please let me know if you have any questions. Best, --Sarah@fandom (Help Forum) (blog) 17:58, October 18, 2010 (UTC)
