Coincidence, or fate?
I've just noticed you've added links to episode scripts on article pages. It's funny, because I was literally looking at those on DarkUFO earlier. I had them all saved except The End, and thought it was about time I saved it before it disappeared. The problem is it's all in JPG files of each page, so I was literally halfway through saving each image individually...and then you post a link to a PDF version (same for Whatever the Case May Be...but I saved each page of that a while ago). So I must thank you for finding that and posting it. Also the script for the original "Nowhere" pilot is on there, which I had yet to start saving. That's a very interesting read, worth it for the rather graphic, if not over the top crash scene. I like the start of the Lost pilot more. :)--Baker1000 (talk) 02:00, March 22, 2014 (UTC)
- I see. The thing is I didn't realise the PDF versions were available, but I knew of them on DarkUFO. I guess someone already saved the individual scans and compiled a PDF of them all. It should be noted that some of those script PDFs are text versions, not just images scanned. It's strange that we have all of the first half of S1 and then odd scripts from "Outlaws" and "Two for the Road", I wonder who released them and hope one day the remaining episodes come to light (especially the one with the outrigger scene). It's a great idea to add images of some of the page scans to articles, though the very brilliant BalkofFame already updated each with a "cut material" section and links to the scans for each scene we never got to see. So perhaps an image of one or two of the more significant scans could be a good addition. I'll take a look and see later.--Baker1000 (talk) 13:25, March 22, 2014 (UTC)
Re: Island Map
Copied over here from my Talk page so you'll be likely to see it:
I don't remember where I found that map. I Googled it up a few years ago to make the joke (I have a collection of frequently incorrectly used homonyms I've made). Suffice it to say, it's a very good map, but it's been around for a while. Amuk (talk) 02:10, March 25, 2014 (UTC)
