Counting Locke's People

Does the count include Sawyer and Jin? If not, then they're up to 22. They only need one more... Or maybe it doesn't matter at all. <grin> --Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 19:42, March 17, 2010 (UTC)

  • Oh wow, I didn't even think of the number! That's a great catch. I didn't actually write that part, but I think it's saying that the group that came up to Jin and Sawyer was a group of 20. It would be cool to figure out exactly how many of them there are. If there are 23 all together, then we should add that as a reference to the Numbers under "recurring themes."--Lionofdharma 20:49, March 17, 2010 (UTC)
  • I didn't know if you were the writer, but you had done a recent edit... If I get a chance, I'll watch again this evening.--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 22:11, March 17, 2010 (UTC)
  • I checked last night andf couldn't come up with a decent enough count to challenge 20, which I think includes Sawyer and Jin. There was at least one child besides Emma and Zach. "Out of place" but, yes, very nice work on History. I agreed with the rename.--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 13:35, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
  • I wrote it. I did two counts - but the best one was the beautiful overhead shot looking down on them having a pow wow in which only Locke has a right to say anything. Everyone there, kids, Locke Sawyer Jin, the lot = 20. ....but I might be wrong. I tried some other counts like when they were stomping thru the mangroves but I only got to about 17 or so - mainly coz of the camera angels and cuts. Somehow I v much doubt it matters. --Charles Kane 13:43, March 18, 2010 (UTC)

history article

Great work on the history article, it looks great now. Though I think that a few pics would make it look even better maybe even getting it an Article of the Week status. --Orhan94 09:09, March 18, 2010 (UTC) I forgot to thank you for this compliment. recon: you never look back

hi - I just undid your edit to Recon - Sawyers interchange with "Locke". I think it was your edit. Only after did I read your explanation. Fraid the Transcript is wrong, I just rewatched the scene and as far as I can tell my quote is quite accurate - the never look back bit (in fact all of it is perfectly clear" and sufficiently important that it gets its place - typical of MiBs manipulation using a person's history. As to punctuation inside quotes, I can only say that that is not what I learnt and there is a very good reason why too. Happy to discuss it (I have actually worked as an editor), otherwise I'll just agree to disagree!--Charles Kane 16:55, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

Still sure that he says "you" - perhaps you'd like to rewatch the scene. Periods inside of quotes - I resign. I'm Australian, and I didn't know you lot changed it, funny coz early American grammarians were very strict about traditional rules, till it all slipped in the late nineteenth century. Surprises me though coz I'm sure I've read American novels which don't do it. Good night.--Charles Kane 17:07, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

  • Hi, sorry, I didn't see your note before I changed it to "we," or else I wouldn't have changed it. I was just going by the transcript on lostpedia. If you've gone back and looked at it, I'll trust you.
  • Re: punctuation -- take a look at what I found on wikipedia: American and British English differences. Apparently the US and Britain/Australia follow different punctuation rules. I had no idea. I'm not sure when that was changed here... but I don't think I remember being taught any differently over the course of my schooling. Anyway, you learn something new every day! --Lionofdharma 18:26, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for :"you never look back" - I'm not sure how the Transcript gets done, is it sandboxed? I'll look into talking to the authors. First I'd like someone else to check I really do have this right. I have re-listened a few times and I'm convinced still ... do you have a copy you can check? As to punctuation seems questions mks exclamation marks etc can still go outside in the US - I think there is a general style manual for grammar etc here - I'll look at it. Meanwhile I will avert my gaze from those nasty full-stops ("periods" as you call them!)!--Charles Kane 23:28, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

I was wrong, Locke probably says "we" (slinks away)--Charles Kane 06:46, March 20, 2010 (UTC)

  • Dude, we are all wrong sometimes. Nothing to be ashamed of. :-) --Lionofdharma 06:58, March 20, 2010 (UTC)

Not to be rude but where have you seen this pattern. Not on Miles page or Jacks or Jins Arzt or Frogurts or Mars I could go on because they are all counting the episodes. Right now everyone has the eps counting so where are you seeing this pattern-- B1G CZYGS  Talk  Contribs  05:22, March 21, 2010 (UTC)

I've seen editing wars with this actually, none of which I was involved in, but I saw them as recently as 2 weeks ago. Perhaps there's been a consensus that we count the episodes regardless of what timeline they're in (though that doesn't make much sense if we're going to have 2 separate pages for each character). If that's the case, then Ethan's OT page is outdated. For the main characters it's a bit more complicated, since many times the last time they've been seen in either the OT or the FST is the same episode. I did notice before I wrote the message on your board that Miles page did not fit the pattern I was speaking of, but Ethan's did. Really, I don't care, but like I just said, if each character is going to have a separate page for each timeline, then their episode counts should be different as well.--Lionofdharma 05:33, March 21, 2010 (UTC)

I have asked someone else to listen just now, and they said it is "definitely not sweetheart". The recurring themes section states he gives her the nickname Earhart, so does the transcript. I'm not the only one who thinks so. You can tell because "there" and "ear" (the way it is pronounced in the name) sound very similar, so he does not say "there, sweetheart" because they sound completely different. Not that it matters since you said you won't remove it, but I just wanted to give more reasons.--Baker1000 21:33, March 27, 2010 (UTC)

Many Thanks

Thank you for your message of support on my page. It's realy gratifying that other users appreciate what I am trying to do. Just saw where you said you have a master's in psychology. I have a master's in social work (started in psych but switched). No wonder we end up seeing things in similar light. I'm glad there's another "touchy/feely" one out there. You seem to be much more on top of the sci-fi elements then I am. This part is all new to me but I'm enjoying learning.--Destinedjourney 16:34, March 31, 2010 (UTC)

  • no, I'm not one of the Kate haters. In fact, I've responded a couple times when people lump her in with Sayid as a killer or some kind of sinner and reminded them that she thought she was rescuing her mother from a potentially life threatening abusive situation, let alone what might have been tried with her. I do admit to throwing a Kate joke or two around, though, there just so easy :)--Destinedjourney 22:56, March 31, 2010 (UTC)
  • People almost seem more sympathetic toward Sayid than Kate, which makes no sense to me. The man has murdered a crapload of people, including a damn child (though it's unclear to me whether that murder attempt ended up being a success). -- —   lion of dharma    talk    email   23:07, March 31, 2010 (UTC)

Character Appearance Counts

I am frequently befuddled by the process. Part of the problem is that we show appearance counts twice on each page, in the infobox and in trivia, and they almost never get updated at the same time. I had earlier prototyped an appearance counting system that I developed on another wiki I help manage, but it kind of died. In point of fact, it's probably very late in the game to try implementing my idea. I've never figured out the logic of counting an appearance for Locke when MiB is seen and the line on Claire's page about the variation between her appearances and her credits befuddles me. See? I just used the same word twice. <grin> I think there's another admin who understands the whole think much better than I, but I can't remember who it is.--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 21:31, March 31, 2010 (UTC)

Ha, you are clearly very befuddled. I am not befuddled about how befuddled you are, because you have been very clear with me about your befuddlement. Anyway, I really don't know why I care about the whole thing. I think I've decided just at this moment to not care. There, that was easy. :-) --—   lion of dharma    talk    email   22:11, March 31, 2010 (UTC)

LOL! It took me awhile, but I finally figured out that to specialize is to survive. I never write episode summaries and pretty much stay out of trivia section.--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 23:07, March 31, 2010 (UTC)

indirect references

It would be a great idea to have a page for indirect references like the ones you and I cited; I would envision it to be a page unto itself, maybe several pages categorized by season or by category (books, movies, etc...) I am sure it would open the doors for a lot of apopheniacs out there, so there would have to be some guidelines, just not sure how that would work. --Emissary23 03:07, April 1, 2010 (UTC)

  • Hey, I'm going to write a response to this later in the day, okay? I am just incredibly annoyed with this site right now. Idiots are posting spoilers left and right. One of them I already knew, but I'm sure some didn't, the other one was a MAJOR spoiler, and I will be so incredibly pissed if it turns out to be true, because I *did not* want to be spoiled about something like that. Goddamn morons. Yeah, I need to chill out. :-) --—   lion of dharma    talk    email   17:11, April 1, 2010 (UTC)
  • Yikes! That sucks. I'm a little peeved myself, but not because of spoilers. It's Carlton and Damon. Kate's name on the cave crossed out "did not make the final edit." We never saw it, I don't listen to the podcasts, I don't think it counts. They need to stop revealing in the podcasts and just let the show speak for itself.--Emissary23 18:10, April 1, 2010 (UTC)
  • I've been thinking about it, and as much as I would love to include valid indirect references in some sort of a sub-article, I think there's really no way in hell to keep it from turning into one enormous free-for-all due to all of the apopheniacs out there. I truly do think that there are some indirect references in which a solid, sound argument can be made regarding whether they were intended by TPTB, but I have seen some extremely far-fetched indirect references written. At least with the episode pages you can delete them and simply state that we are adding direct references only. But to set aside an entire page for indirect references would quickly turn into a mess, no? It's like the theories pages: I wouldn't try to edit those with a 10 foot pole and I really don't know how the users who do edit them pull it off. Because so many of the authors of those insane theories are just adamant that they should be included, and then it just turns into one big edit war. --—   lion of dharma    talk    email   22:41, April 2, 2010 (UTC)
    • Hey--it's emissary23, but I decided to retire the old name for a new one. Anyway, I tend to agree with you. It would be a great list, but it would be sprawling and too time-consuming to keep it neat. Probably the best thing is to keep it informally on user pages or blogs. I'll see if I can think of a few and post them on my talkpage; I don't want to write a blog because I already have one outside Lostpedia...--Frakkin Toaster 03:51, April 4, 2010 (UTC)

Kate's template

I changed a bit your design of kate's chronological portal on the character chronology talk page. I hope you don't mind. --Orhan94 21:15, April 1, 2010 (UTC)

  • Not at all, though I think you changed the one that the user who first created the page made. That user's portal is the second one, the really long list. Mine was the first one with the list items laid out horizontally instead of all vertically. I feel like the vertical layout just makes it so long for no reason, though I suppose it's a bit more clear, and also it doesn't matter much in the long run if the portals are collapsible. Regarding the change you made, I think it makes a lot of sense to have the picture in the side bar instead of where all of the text is. --—   lion of dharma    talk    email   21:45, April 1, 2010 (UTC)
  • Sorry for the late reply, I was waiting for your response on my talk page. My bad about the template, I'll make the changes to your template too and if it is fine we can apply these changes to templates about every character listed there. --Orhan94 12:15, April 5, 2010 (UTC)

The information I provided is canon because the producers themselves provided the information. There's no greater source for canon information than the producers. The interview clearly states the information as canon. -- —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 1LOSTFan (talkcontribs) .

Note from a concerned newbie-

Hey, I have noticed you on here, you seem to be a level-headed compassionate person, but not lacking a sense of humor. I am really worried about the users ColincampME and bel the dragon. I feel like we watched Colin self destruct the other evening. He's really cryptic, I tried to figure out his, for lack of a kinder word, ramblings, I guess he thinks Jack has multiple petsonalities. I feel like Colin may share that problem. As for bel, I'm not sure english is his first language, and he's starting to remind me of Colin. I feel concerned for them, I don't know what to do. I'm afraid if they're ignored, they'll post more insanity. Sorry to vent to you, I'm an empathetic person, and I hate to see struggling people attacked. Your talk to Destined about Kate

Hi LionofDharma: I was just responding back to DestinedJourney about something and came across your post right above mine about Kate and wanted you to know I totlly agree. In fact I was trying to make a similar point on a blog when many were claiming that she was a horrible actress. My point was that she actually has one of the hardest jobs because she is portraying a deeply developed charcter who has been brutally hurt by her mother and stepfather as a young formative woman and as a result she is "closed" and is relationship phobic. It would be very difficult to protray such a closed character and still invite love and empathy from the audience. I beleive she has mastered this role. Kate brings a whole new level of emotion to the scenes and she reflects highly charged passion into whatever scene she is doing whilst not giving away herself and retaining the integrity of her character. Not to mention how truely feeling and moral she is in every situation. We do not see her acting in a self-serving way and seems geniunely concerned for tohers first, truely selfless. You could argue that next to Hurley she is the most selfless moral character. I could be convinced to put jack in that catagory but he may do what he does for pride and control...

I guess I ws just excited to find another kate fan and wanted you to know how much I like this character too.

Thanks also for the reference to watch Fringe, i apprecite the suggestion. I will watch it and let you know what i think. thanks again, happy blogging.--Annied 03:39, April 6, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for your message-

Thanks for responding, I was getting frustrated. I grew up in a house of girls, and although my house is now full of men, they still confuse and amaze me. Alot of the guys on here remind me of my 2 year old, only with a slightly larger vocabulary, I say slightly because my 2 year old is able to express himself without cursing! I think I have Lost in Time handled, I told him off, and he actually apologized and took some of my advice. He's still abrasive, but boys will be boys. As for Colin and bel, I will ignore them the best I can, but part of me wants to stand up for them, while the other part of me wants to royally chew them out for their craziness! I guess us girls gotta get used to the pathetic testosterone induced rants/fights...pathetic as they may be, I think it may be the equivalent of "male bonding." Greetings and Salutations

Hello there, Lionofdharma. BMetcalf82 here. I just wanted to stop by and say thanks regarding the spoiler-reporting. I read spoilers all the time but I have the common sense to not post them on Lostpedia. Do you read spoilers as well? When reporting the spoilers, we should report them as "Vandalism" and name the specific user posting the spoilers in that little comment box. Date and time of the comment wouldn't hurt either. I caught two so far today (reported the same one that you have) and I expect more in the near future. Funny thing is, I put a message on the offending users talk page asking to not post spoilers. Before we know it, they've been posted. I've simply decided to bookmark the 'problem reports' page for Lostpedia so I can keep track of administrative decision. Thanks for reporting the problem and watching out for our fellow Lostpedians! Namaste, BMetcalf82 20:56, April 9, 2010 (UTC)

Kate page and your message to me

Thanks for the message. I read the blog you suggested and totally agree with your comments. I also agree with you saying the Kate haters that are male are very vindictive towards her because a) she is hot b) they HATE any depicting of a womns pwer over two of the leading males. It is very threatening to them -- even though if she were a guy, and it was two females -- it would be the two females fault and the guys behavior would be totally acceptable. Great definition of misogny - like you I rarely use that or call the many misogonists out on it but that is cleary the case. We see it everywhere and it plays out so frequently here, on these blogs, and Kate seems to be a huge target. These guys would be much happier if Kate was whinning for Sawyer or Jacks attention and not making up her own mind to do the right thing despite her feelings. They would rather she be totally ineffective or rendered completely useless due to her overwhelming desires for the man. Sorry, don't want to go on a rant, but well done- sista - well done!--Annied 02:47, April 13, 2010 (UTC)

I did not read TheHeroofCantons reference to his other blog until now - really, really sick. What is even more nausating is the support he received from fellow woman-haters. I was thoroughly disgusted by what he wrote and posted again on the page. I may have across too strongly, but hey, he is out of control. Let me know what you think of my responses. I am not reading anything he has to say ever again - that was disgusting!--Annied 02:45, April 13, 2010 (UTC)

  • I didn't even read the comments on that old blog of his. I think I should probably avoid them, because they would just piss me off. Yeah, I think your comments are right on the money. And it's really no surprise that all of us users who are disagreeing with him are women... ugh, I just really hate the battle of the sexes. There's no question that men and women think, feel, and react in a different manner in regards to many aspects of life, but I just wish it didn't have to involve disrespect. It was the term "dumb bitch" that really got me. Honestly, I don't think I would have had as negative of a reaction as I did if it hadn't been for that. It would be one thing if the character of Kate really was a "dumb bitch," but to be honest I can't think of a single female character on the show that fits that description. Hell, I can't even think of an actual person I know in real life that fits that description. I truly feel like there is a double standard many of the guys around here hold her to. Sawyer and Sayid at the very least are a hell of a lot more morally ambiguous than she is. And the lives these characters have led is not your typical one... it's not like this love triangle has been existing within a context of an everyday, relatively stress-free lifestyle. The drama of all of that would have been resolved long ago if that were the case; at least I'd like to think that the writers would have made that so. Blaargh, whatever. It's not like they're insulting my mom or even my best friend. If I were a guy I probably wouldn't even care. I just see it as a small example of what can be so screwy about the dynamics between men and women. And perhaps I might get just one guy who reads it to think of things in a different way than they have in the past. Or perhaps one of these guys will respond in a manner that gets me to look at things in a different way. —   lion of dharma    talk    email   03:47, April 13, 2010 (UTC)

Agreed, hate the whole "bttle of the sexes" "womens movement" kind of thing, Haven't notice anyone saying there is a "man's movement" what could have been enlightening i.e. Woman's movement has become derrogatory, same with the word feminists..Women and men are to blame for this, both genders do not have enough respect for the feminine side of the equation, IMO. but I guess there are other ways to be effective and to your point about getting someone to see things differently; check out the end of the Juliet says, "it worked!" :) --Annied 19:35, April 13, 2010 (UTC)

Oh and one more thing, just between us girls..I beleive most men, if not all, are afraid of our true power as women. Not that it is anymore special, but they don't understand it and have no control - so negating it every chance they get seems to have gotten them to where they are on this planet, but the fear is still there. And I of course do not need to tell you what the power is.....Hence Kate hate. Ok, enough already.--Annied 19:35, April 13, 2010 (UTC)

When I went to my "talk" page (FIRST TIME!) I couldn't help but notice that the WELCOME TO LOSTPEDIA! message was right above yours. I simply left an observation that I noted that I thought was really cool, on a discussion page. The first response to my post was ARRRGH!...etc. etc. long exposition on how my remarks should be classified. I just have to say that it was not welcoming, not that that is the function of a post, but it just characterized the tone somehow. I tried to make a humorous response implying that I was learning as I went, (maybe I should have included emoticons!) and then someone else makes a comment and I get taken to task as YOU TWO. You set this tone, I didn't. Perhaps it wasn't intentional, but I felt that I was a bit attacked. And, I wanted nothing more to do with the forum. I'm not whining, just no longer interested because of my experience. AND... I am a girl too...that question was not literal, but a "Cultural Reference" to a certain skit on Saturday Night Live years ago involving William Shatner and trekkies (star trek fan here!) I think it was the intensity of the discussion and the argumentative tone that was offputting, and I am sorry if my response was inappropriate.--Mcsnebber 18:33, April 15, 2010 (UTC)

You're welcome, lion...I feel like people should be perfectly able to debate points without resorting to personal attacks, name-calling, etc., which only ruins their credibility as an intelligent human being. New Theory

Hi Lion. I posted on Destined blog "waving the white flag" and I am really interested to hear what you think. Like you, I am convinced MiB was lying about being Christian not only because he is a liar, but he especially appeared to be lying this time. But I am actually maintaining that there are two Christians. and I just thought of this so want to see if it makes sense. One dead Christian body from the Ot, one dead Christian body from the FS. I have said before that i thought the visions might be FST peeps helping out the survivors in the OT. Anyways, if you get a chance to read the theory I would be interested in getting your take. All my best, --Annied 22:22, April 22, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for taking a look

Thanks for taking look at my theory about the visions being the FST people and possibly two possessed Christian bodies one from the FST and one from the OT. I think it explains the inconsistencies for why he sometimes looks to help MiB and sometimes seems to be helping the survivors. I am definitely NOT sold on the idea, but I am not buying the MiB=Christian because he said so. He could not have looked more disingenious almost guessing when he said of his more obvious lies, and he is a pretty good liar. i know we are all sick of talking about this issue, but i REALLY appreciate your opinions and perspectives and want to thank you for your feedback. I haven't noticed you on the blogs too much this week and miss your and Sean Sheeps insightful comments. For the most part the blogs were really uninteresting...the same old "what is your favorite..." and alot of whinning. I miss the blogs where Sean brings up an incredible theory, I research his cited material and learn about quantum physics in a new way. Anyways, thanks again Lion! --Annied 04:15, April 23, 2010 (UTC)

Just wondering why you undid some of my changes to "The Candidate". Was there a problem with my stuff, or did we have an editing collision? I had sent you an email using lostpedia. not to sure how that works. No, no college for me. I'm just a local boy. Unless you count the computer class I took at Southern over a winter break. I know I don't. I went to Manhattan College for a couple of years, but that's about it. So what school did you go to? Yale? Southern? UNH? I see you live in Chicago. You have a great city there. I come out your way once a year for business. So I have to ask. Who do you think has the better pizza, New Haven or Chicago? For me its hands down, New Haven. Even when I lived in Montana in my mid 20's I ate New Haven pizza. I'd have Modern Pizza on State Street over night them to me. Yes I know its a little sick. Talk to you later, Bustelos

Jack picture

You didn't understand a single thing my friend.

Two days ago, I changed Jack's alt picture to put a cleaner one (picture from the candidate). Since you have the chance to be part of the higher beings of this planet, having an incredible mind, you can check the logs. TODAY, I noticed that the "altjack.jpg" was used on the Season 6 page. Ok. The "Flocke picture" was a completely different problem. It's two distinct problems, so stop pretending I'm lying or anything... When I saw that "altjack" was used on the page, and wasn't accurate anymore, I decided to : Put a Lightouse picture for the Lighthouse episode. Sounds crazy right ? I don't know why I had such a far fetched idea, to put a picture matching an episode. Just crazy. And while I were at it, I changed Flocke and put Jack since I assumed he was in a lot of scenes, and that Flocke isn't Locke. On that point, no problem, once you made very clear that, obviously YOU have to be right on that, I didn't insist and put it back. Then on the altjack edits, it's simple. I don't think the Lighthouse picture, that has spot all over Jack, where he closes his eyes, is a good picture. I honestly didn't think it would make such a drama or I wouldn't even have changed it in the first place. What I didn't understand, is why you're so willing to have the picture on the season 6 page, the same as Jack's main picture. It's not the case with Sawyer, Ben, Kate etc... so why is this so important that Jack is ? O_o It doesn't make any sense. Then, about the rude "tell me why it should be Flocke ?". Indeed it was rude, I'm sorry, but that's because from my point of view, an episode being mostly a Jack centric shouldn't be represented by Flocke. Put a picture with Both Jack and Locke, but Flocke alone ? So you decided it was the best, and now we have to "vote" against that on the talk page? How is that even fair ? You decide whatever you want and if people don't agree they can't do anything, they're forced to get a consensus ? How does that work ? The first person to put the picture has the right to decide ? -_- Once again, there's clearly some huge misunderstanding, but I'll defend my case anytime, so feel free to signal me.--Atarada 00:11, May 11, 2010 (UTC)
Well, thanks for answering this way. As I said, I never wanted to create such a drama. I now have a better understanding of the rules, and this will not happen again. Sorry for the inconvenience. See ya, brotha.--Atarada 10:22, May 11, 2010 (UTC)

Kate on the view

Hi, I never watch The View on abc but happened to go to the Y this morning (decided to stop sitting around on the computer all day and move!) and The View was on tv there. Just as I was about to change the channel Evangaline Lilly came on. She gave a great interview and looked absolutely stunning. I think you'd enjoy it if you go on can probably watch it.--Destinedjourney 17:20, May 11, 2010 (UTC) Yes, I know what part you're talking about. I didn't want to indicate anything because she is evasive and it could just be a game, but does make it look like there is something there she can't say...

Hi Lion: Destined let me know about Kate on the View as well. I thought it was great and in getting back to her I saw your comment. sorry to butt in, but can you tell me what part made you think that she was the 6th candidate?? Just for us girls of course, won't say anything in the blogs. As you know, I am right there with you on Kate being the 6th candidate so i would love to hear what you thought might be some confirmation towards this. Thanks, --Annied 20:25, May 13, 2010 (UTC)

ABOUT KATE: Thanks for the Youtube reference and reference points. Hmmmm...very interesting comment. Also, wanted to tell you as a fellow Kate Fan, I posted a blog about "WHat we Like About Kate" I feel I am somewhat out on a limb here and would appreciate any comments you can post. :) thx so much.--Annied 19:15, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

I think I know, but I was just wondering what the "Brava" was for, lol. --Huthtruth 04:40, May 14, 2010 (UTC)Huthtruth

This doesnt really need a discussion they are the same characters having two pages is incorrect. Not to mention ive seen several different users add the info but only you removing it and also Ive seen discussions where just about everyone agrees there the same character [[1]] while the only argument against merging is the pg would be too long which is irrelevant to the point that having two pages makes the site both confusing and incorrect, when something is this obvious no discussion needed. -- B1G CZYGS  Talk  Contribs  02:23, May 26, 2010 (UTC)

Do you think it is acceptable that a person should be told to go kill themselves on this site, no matter who that person is? Do you think its acceptable for someone to exclaim that they should go kill themselves?

A yes or no answer will suffice... -- Plkrtn  talk  contribs  email  08:21, May 26, 2010 (UTC)

Roses pic

For roses profile pic you said see discussion as to why you changed it, well i went there and saw a vote that you started that was 3-3. How does a split represent the right to make a change. Not only is 3-3 not a majority its not even a consensus (which is whats generally needed to make changes to things). So I reverted it and unless you get more support dont use the same reasoning behind making edits. p.s. I just read this and it may sound like im mad at you or trying to be rude but iam sorry iam not im just in a hurry. -- B1G CZYGS  Talk  Contribs  23:36, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
