Hello, I noticed you changed the North East South West bearings on many articles. Have you managed to resolve the various, seemingly contradictory maps? If so I would very much like to see your explanations, I still can't wrap my head around it. Thanks. Hugo815 00:57, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for your comments. Do you suggest totally disregarding Ben's map (the geography, pearl, barracks etc) or just the suggestion that North is at the top? How do you account for the Sat Phone repeatedly showing North as being towards the ocean from beach camp, Sawyer's comment (Barracks due South), and Locke telling Hugo to go North to get to the Beach Camp? The Cabin Map seems to show the geography is accurate on Ben's Map, and if the Barracks was North, how could anyone travel NW to the Barracks for a day and a half? That would put them in the Ocean at the beginning. I was thinking that maybe North is roughly "Left" from the Beach Camp. Thanks for reading :) Hugo815 02:08, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
It's better to rename pages than to create new ones and redirects like you did for the 2 members of Danielle's team. It's not a big deal with these pages, but on longer ones like when we renamed Marvin Candle to Pierre Chang, it keeps the discussion history intact. Thanks. --Gluphokquen Gunih ▲ 02:33, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Trevor as member of DI
Are you sure about the identification of this character? I noticed you created the Trevor article. On Talk:Some Like It Hoth, an editor identified this character as the landlord in Miles's flashback. 05:09, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, Tim de Zarn played the landlord. See this picture of him from Live Free or Die Hard: . 05:14, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry for the mix up. I kind of figured he was the landlord, after I made the article. I'll be careful in the future. --LOST-The Cartographer 15:04, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
Hey, I see you changed Jeremy Davies to "2008-2010". I had to remove it, because, well, that's a spoiler, sorry. --Golden Monkey 17:54, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
RE:Via Domus Canonicity
Thanks for notifying me Cart. I have explained to Sprial77 why it is still canonical. --00:34, January 21, 2010 (UTC)
I mistakenly put a bit that belonged in the episode Lighthouse on the actual Lighthouse page - when I realized my mistake and went back to fix it I saw you had already gotten to it. Much appreciated! :D --Pittsburghmuggle 00:25, March 3, 2010 (UTC)
Graduate students researching Lostpedia
Dear LOST-The Cartographer,
My name is Ariel Brandt, and I represent a group of graduate students in the Information Management program at the University of Maryland. We are contacting you based on the amount of activity you have demonstrated in Lostpedia in the hopes that you would be interested in participating in a study approved by Lostpedia administrators to build visual maps of the social networks embedded in Lostpedia.
We hope that through our research we will be able to provide valuable information to Lostpedia administrators about the interconnectedness of the community of users via their postings, page edits, and potentially other identified points of connection (which you can help us identify). This is part of a larger project conducted by our instructor, Dr. Derek Hansen who is studying the Lostpedia community.
We intend to post our visualizations resulting from these interviews and other research activities on the Lostpedia Main Page (via the administrators, of course) by March 19th and hope that the visualizations help make Lostpedia an even stronger community. My colleague Michael Johns will be conducting these interviews. If you think you might be interested in participating, please respond to this e mail with a couple of good times for Michael to be in touch with you. Most likely these interviews will take place via phone or video chat, but if you live in the DC metro area we would love to arrange an in person meeting. The interview will be between 30 and 45 minutes, and will be focused on questions about your use of Lostpedia.
If you think you would be interested in participating, please e mail me at email@example.com by 5pm EST Tuesday March 9th. Also, please note that all interview participants must be at least 18 years of age or older. Thank you very much, Ariel Brandt firstname.lastname@example.orgArielb 00:34, March 10, 2010 (UTC)
Following up- and apologies
Hi there, Thank you for getting back to me, I realize I left an old date/ time in the message I just left you. We would love for you to participate if you would still like to. Can you e mail me so that we can work out the details of a date and time? Thank you again, so much! Ariel email@example.com Arielb 01:27, March 10, 2010 (UTC)
