Lucky I can't ban you, but please stop the vandalism. --13:43, 31 December 2007 (PST)
I was told to take down all the apollocandy.com stuff - the images, the videos, etc. all need to come down - the web-site is a porn site and so the stuff directing people there needs to come down ASAP. Can you change that for us?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kb499red (talk • contribs) .
- It is a shame that the site has turned ponographic, and I cannot do anything about the site. Do not take down the info on Lostpedia, because That page is about Apollo Candy in general, not specififcally about the site. -- 13:51, 31 December 2007 (PST)
I understand that it's a shame that someone bought out the web-site and changed it pornographic material but don't you think it'd be good to delete anything on Lostpedia that directs users to a porn site? I am sure that you can keep some stuff up about Apollo Candy but anywhere that has the text of "apollocandy.com" needs to come down - I think that's only fare and just.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kb499red (talk • contribs) .
- As Lostfan has said please do not blank pages on Lostpedia. The link to the website (pornographic one) has been removed months ago because it has turned to a pornographic site and mentions have been placed on numerous articles about this. We realize this fact and have for a while. But the article focuses on the company itself not the website, there is no direct links to the site throughout the wiki anymore. Please stop vandalizing the site as none of the Lostpedia Staff have given you permission to remove anything on the wiki. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions. -Mr.Leaf 14:01, 31 December 2007 (PST)
Ok, look - I do completely understand that we shouldn't take off any good content. However, there is some text on the Apollo Candy page that either direct the users to the web-site and it's even in the youtube commercial. I am not fraud or creating any vandalism as I was told to take this stuff down but I'm a concerned person and really believe that there's more images, text, etc. that need to be deleted. Just my professional advice. - kb499red
I was trying to make edits or suggests to make edits based off an email from my colleague at our company about an ABC ad on the LOSTpedia site which gives the text to the apollo candy web-site (which is now a porn site); this is what we can not have up on the site directing people to a porn site. And I saved the changes without knowing that it was going to change the whole wiki site.
Yes. Since wiki is also a site where you can suggest changes. That's what I was trying to do - I am new to the site so it might have accidentally deleted more. But I was trying to take off anything that directs people to the porn site. Of course we don't want to take any good content down b/c that's good content but I think we should be careful where we are directing these users to. I was putting in a request for the change. Thank you. Kb499red 14:47, 31 December 2007 (PST)kb499red
I have looked over the Apollo Candy pages, and whenever I saw Apollocandy.com, I changed it to Apollo Candy Website. I am also going to start a renaming discussion on the ApolloCandy.com events page, changing it to Apollo Candy Distrubtion Events. I hope everyone agrees on these edits. -- 14:49, 31 December 2007 (PST)
Okay - I will inform my colleagues of these changes that are being made. However, if you watch the commercial, there is a text at the end of the web-site. That commercial will probably need to come down along with anywhere that provides the actual web-site address. Thanks everyone. Kb499red 15:08, 31 December 2007 (PST)kb499red
I would hate for anyone to remove the Apollo Candy Bar Commercial. It is a valid contribution to the wiki and helps explain one of the many facets of the Lost Expeirience. I feel that if ABC and the producers of the Lost expeirience made a mistake by letting the website "legally" fall into the hands of a porn distributor, that they cannot erase the evidence that it existed. ABC's own Commercial is forever spinning in cyberspace; trying to exclude it from this wiki would be detrimental to the mission of this website LostRambler Jun 17, 2008
