Reverts

Please note for an edit such as [this], it is requested that you explain if reverting an edit. Specifically, "If you are undoing an edit that is not vandalism, explain the reason in the edit summary rather than using only the default message.". Hope you are doing well! Thank you! Sorry about that...I just didn't know how, otherwise I would've left my reasoning.--Jmoore0905 06:51, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

Dates

Ive noticed youve been going around editing dates, well I dont know where you get these dates did you just pick a radom day or something? But the fact is every date you have changed has been wrong. During a recap episode it was mentioned that the ajira crash took place in 2007 not only that but in 5x01 commentary lindelof states jack/ben meeting at lockes coffin happened in 07. Yet you continue to put events in january of 08 why?? So for future refernece you need to see talk pages before you go around editing all the dates. Im guessing this was a mistake so i would also sugest browsing lostpedia's talk pgs and other pages before you make a large group of edits again.-- B1G CZYGS  Talk  Contribs  04:51, February 24, 2010 (UTC)

Dont worry about it someone else obviously screwed up and you got the wrong info because of that. I agree though, how hard would it be just to mention a date so we could have the correct info. -- B1G CZYGS  Talk  Contribs  21:06, February 27, 2010 (UTC)

Locke

Why do you keep changing Lockes appearances to 89?-- B1G CZYGS  Talk  Contribs  02:12, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but it was decided among consensus that his appearances as MIB do count if you disagree you may contribute your opinion but your opinion alone does not overule a major consensus. We didnt just start counting them as of lighthouse either they have counted since Season 6. The appearances do count. In the future when you see a hidden note refering you to a discussion do not disregard it. -- B1G CZYGS  Talk  Contribs  02:17, March 6, 2010 (UTC)
I never reported you for vandalism I reported the users who were continually editing the S6 Character appearances template and removing the note. You never changed that, it was other users, I never was refering to you in that message (which i left like a week ago). In the future I would suggest leaving reasoning in the edit summaries. And not disregarding the note i left refering editors to the discussion to avoid confusion. -- B1G CZYGS  Talk  Contribs  02:24, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

Mysteries

Hello, just wanted to say that i totally agree with you about your complaints with the people who have been changing or removing the mysteries without asking or discussing. It's really annoying, and hope there's a way to stop them. Once i reported one of the "ignoring any kinds of discussion or consensus" users, but nothing has happened.--Paintbox 22:27, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

the answers

Well while Miles' ability isn't explicitly answered I doubt that will ever get a better an answer than what we got in "Some Like It Hoth" about how it works and what he gets from talking to the dead, which IMHO is a good enough answer for me, I think that Desmond's flashes are answered as the producers and the show to some extent have stated that they are a result of the discharge. --Orhan94 23:14, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

  • Well you have a point. Change it to partially answered for now but post a section on the talk page of the Mysteries portal about it first (stating why you think it should be moved) so people can discuss it if they think that the change to answered is not in place. --Orhan94 23:33, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

Daniel

Yes, probably that vision was another form of the monster. Although i agree with you (except Walt, this shouldn't be that easy.lol), we need a confirmation of the MIB's nature of transforming into dead/living people. Sorry that i'm a spoiler follower, but i guess we'll get an answer about this issue in the upcoming episodes. Once we learn his capacity of transforming, we can change the status of this mystery.--Paintbox 14:20, March 26, 2010 (UTC)

  • Haha,it would be funny if they used Walt this way for just being enigmatic and weird. Oh,and by the way don't forget to sign your posts even when you post them to the users' talk pages. Cheers! --Paintbox 16:03, March 26, 2010 (UTC)

Re:David

  • On this particular instance, I agree with you. But if you check the talk page, you'll see that consensus has been reached to exclude characters who haven't appeared in the original timeline or appeared in a significant amount of episodes in the flash-sideways timeline (can't remember if it's 3 or 5 right now, but it's one of those) ... a measure presumably taken to (rightfully so, in my opinion) exclude characters like this guy from the portal. I didn't come up with rule, I just follow it. :) You can always voice your opinion on the talk page. --LeoChris 01:20, April 19, 2010 (UTC)
  • No worries. Happens to the best of us. --LeoChris 01:38, April 19, 2010 (UTC)

Time travel

The mystery portal is for general mysteries only ex. Naomi - it was changed to solved when we got an answer to who she was, not when we got an answer to "why she claimed that 815 crashed in Sunda?" even though it was still an UQ about Naomi. So the time travel mystery was simply "what causes it?". The mysteries you listed should go on the time travel and frozen wheel articles' Unanswered Question sections not on the mystery portal. --Orhan94 04:56, April 21, 2010 (UTC)

Franks age

One could also assume Locke is in his 50s but youd be wrong. There are no assumptions unless presented evidence from the show. Its very possible Frank is in his 40s, or maybe he looks good for his age and is in his 60s. Do not just assume ages we need evidence which you have none of. -- B1G CZYGS  Talk  Contribs  11:55, May 14, 2010 (UTC)

With respect to Jack's "Death"

Please take a deep breath. Jack did not die in 2007 (I'm assuming you are referring to the ruptured appendix he suffered.)

Everyone died when 815 went kaput. All of the trials and tribulations experienced by everyone on the island (timeshifts and all) from the very moment 815 exploded happened in Purgatory.

It is very gratifying to see fans like yourself be so passionate about the series. Thanks for your efforts.--Jimbodunky 16:35, May 24, 2010 (UTC)

Mr. Moore, please try to be polite. You can call me an "obnoxious ass" all you want, did you not learn anything from the series?--Jimbodunky 16:44, May 24, 2010 (UTC)

Date of Jacob's birth

Another user just pointed out that 0AD couldn't be correct for Jacob's year of birth because 0AD doesn't exist, which is true. That user changed it to 1BC but stated that he/she didn't know where 0AD came from in the first place. I decided to browse the history and saw that you were the one who changed it to 0AD. Can you explain where you got this information? If not, I will likely be changing it to "Classical Roman Era" as it was before, since that's as precise as we can get, as far as I know. --Celebok 00:20, June 30, 2010 (UTC)

  • Hey, thanks for your response. So, I don't suppose you happen to remember where Titus Welliver or Mark Pellegrino made the 43AD statement? The reason I ask is because the Lostpedia canon policy makes a distinction between cast/crew statements on official versus unofficial channels. Actors especially need to be scrutinized when they reveal things about the show, since we know that they don't possess all information about the show's canon. If you don't remember, then I'll have to vote to dismiss it as non-canon. --Celebok 03:38, July 1, 2010 (UTC)

Date of Jack's birth

You changed Jack's DOB on his article to December 3, 1969. What is the source for this date?--Baker1000 20:09, October 1, 2010 (UTC)

Ah, I didn't even think about the auction props. Thanks for clearing that up. Do you happen to know where Jack's 2007 death being in November came from? It was added back in July by another user and I don't know of any official source which said the events of 2007 are in November.--Baker1000 00:29, October 2, 2010 (UTC)
Okay, thanks anyway. I know it's annoying, but it will have to be removed if there is no official confirmation. I've contacted the user who added it.--Baker1000 00:34, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

Man in Black

Hey, what's the source for MIB being born in the year 1AD? You added it to the article.--Baker1000 13:15, November 1, 2010 (UTC)

Just checked my Encyclopedia. It actually says "early 1st century AD". I've also looked on the Man in Black article, it also says first century AD. So it doesn't specifically confirm it was 1AD. Unless I've overlooked it somewhere else in the book, in which case let me know.--Baker1000 20:22, November 1, 2010 (UTC)
Well this is why I had to check, because I thought I was missing something. You were correct in adding the forms of Emeka and Daniel the altar boy into the infobox though, as the book does state that.--Baker1000 21:28, November 1, 2010 (UTC)
