I was rewatching Walkabout and it got me to thinking. Even if Locke (one of my favorites) is really dead at least he got the Walkabout he was striving for. The island was a great big walkabout for him. I'm trying to figure out if any other characters got anything positive out of the island so far. Rose and Bernard have a certain kind of peace, now that she's not dying due to being on the island and Charlie got off drugs and died a noble death (if you call that positive). I know it's been doom and destruction for most of the folks. Can anyone else think of a positive island experience?
