I have asked this question several times here (and in other forums), without ever getting an answer or comment. So, after watching The Incident last night and seeing how central Sayid is to the entire Lost story, I thought I'd post one more time. Does anyone out there think it is significant that Sayid Jarrah (the character) shares the exact name (in arabic) with one of the 9/11 hijackers? Does anyone agree that TPTB may be trying to say that even monster-like extremists can be "saved"/redeemed, if we as a society are open to forgiveness?
