Flying off the Island!! To where?

So Miles, Richard, Lapidus, Sawyer, Kate and Claire flew off the Island on the plane manned by Lapidus. OK. But where are they going to go? LA X? And how are they going to explain where they came from? Are they going have to lie to "protect" the Island again? They can't just say we've just resolved the Island for 6 years can they. And what will happen to them after even though we can never know! :(
