Ab Aeterno best episode yet?

I LOVED Ab Aeterno. It was the perfect episode for so many reasons. It answered questions without twisting another plot or mystery. I think we were all ready to find out what Richard's origins were and how he got to the Island. It really was good to watch a decent episode. BUT why does everyone think the Island really IS hell?! It not.
