Lanny Joon is an actor who has made an appearance on Lost as Dr. Bae in the episode "Ji Yeon". These questions were created by Sam McPherson, and asked via email on June 19, 2008.

Lostpedia: Do you watch Lost? If so, are you a die-hard fan or just a casual viewer? And do you have a favorite episode, character, etc?

I was an avid watcher and was hooked for season one and two, but I lost track of the show after a little while after because of scheduling. Those were pretty much my LOST years. I honestly didn't have a favorite character because all of them were so interesting in such different ways that I was hooked to all them instantly.

Lostpedia: There's always an interesting story behind how the actors on the show get their roles. What's yours?

LOST was my first TV gig I ever auditioned for and I was fortunate enough to be cast in it. My agent just called one day and said I had an audition for LOST and i went in the next morning and did my part. And the following day I hear I got the part and then 2 days later after that I'm on a plane to HI.

Lostpedia: Are there any interesting stories from your time on set?

Not really, but all I have to say about the LOST set is that it was the most comfortable time. The cast and crew were incredibly generous by the time I was done shooting, I wanted to stick around and just hang with everyone.

Lostpedia: Did you have any more lines that were filmed but cut? It's always fun to find out what didn't make it past production.

Incredibly, none of my lines were taken out. I was pretty shocked about that.

Lostpedia: What acting have you done since Lost?

I just finished a 6 week play called "Trapezoid" that ran at the GTC Burbank in Burbank, CA with the Lodestone Theatre Co. and now I'm currently taking a little travel break.

Lostpedia would like to thank Mr. Joon for taking the time to do an interview.
