Theories may be removed if ...
  1. Stated as questions or possibilities (avoid question marks, "Maybe", "I think", etc).
  2. More appropriate for another article.
  3. Illogical or previously disproven.
  4. Proven by canon source, and moved to main article.
  5. Speculative and lacking any evidence to support arguments.
  6. Responding to another theory (use discussion page instead).
  • This does not include responses that can stand alone as its own theory.
  • Usage of an indented bullet does not imply the statement is a response.

See the Lostpedia theory policy for more details.

General

  • The Real Arrow hasn't been discovered yet. The place that the tail section found was the Arrows storage station.
  • Most arrows point at something important. Perhaps The Arrow can be used to navigate, maybe it even points to 325
    • Maybe Horace's job was to calculate the compass bearing which was "the way out" (325). This will explain why the station became abandoned, and later used for a storage facility, after he made the calculation.
      • Unlikely: The DHARMA Initiative staff already had the means of transportation on and off the island which implies no need to calculate such a value.
  • The station the Tailies found may not be the whole Arrow station. On the Blast Door Map, there is a small part that connects to the main station off to the left of it. This may be a supply station that the Tailies found. They also may have found one of the "CV's" on the map, seen clustered near The Swan and C4. This "CV V" (CV 5) may not be visible on the map, as the top is slightly cut off.
  • The station may have been used by Radzinsky at one point, as the parts of the Swan Orientation Film that he edited out were found there.
  • The Arrow may have been an incomplete station, judging by the simple concrete walls and no furniture; this station may never have been completed
  • The Quarantine warning on the door supports theories that people lived in the Arrow and were not supposed to leave, much like the Swan.
  • From what the Tailies found, it is possible that most of The Arrow or The Arrow itself is simply a storage bunker. If that's the case, it may be possible that there are other "Arrows" on the island. The Arrow would be a collective name for all of them.
  • The glass eye belongs to Mikhail Bakunin.

Function

  • On the blast door map, it says the Arrow was also used for manufacturing, and it housed light industrial equipment. The Others probably took this equipment for their own use.
    • Looking closely at the map, it seems more likely that the manufacturing note is next to the C3 station outlined in the broken lines.
  • There is possibly a direct connection between the Arrow and the Swan station; on the Mural, in the Swan, there is a huge arrow.
  • "Restocking and staging area for Dharma Initiative Hanso Group", as mentioned by the Blast Door Map, could mean the Arrow is like a waiting room before people replace those in the other stations, like the Pearl, so they don't interact.
  • The Arrow is also used for mathematical research as seen in "The Man Behind the Curtain" on Horace's workman suit, possibly researching The Valenzetti Equation.

The Box

  • The " secret " piece of film, which was hidden inside the bible is some sort of key to the island.
