Updates

I added a bunch of writers to List of Lost writers so this chart will need to be updated at some point. Curious though, everyone gets mentioned for one job, right? Hence why Lindelof nor Abrams get writing credits. I'm assuming that if a writer also directed an episode, the credit goes to directing. Tebor 22:24, 15 September 2006 (PDT)

Producers

At some point, we should add the producers who are not already listed in the above. People like Jesse Alexander, Sarah Caplan, Leonard Dick, Jean Higgins, David Fury, etc. These are the people who are officially listed as the winner of the 2005 Emmy Award for Lost. Some of them don't even have articles yet! -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯  Talk 15:43, 1 October 2006 (PDT)

Misc?

Is there no room for misc guys? I don't mean the intern who gets coffee and runs the scripts :P Jim Spencer pretty much designed the whole hatch, and is on the Secrets From the Hatch featurette I just transcribed. I put a link and there's nothing there for him, so I wanted to make a page, but I don't think there's any other crew that are Misc.? --PandoraX 21:05, 6 November 2006 (PST)

  • I agree, does anyone oppose to adding a misc section. How about people like Jerold Franks. He is the casting director, he deserves a spot on it. --Mr.Leaf 15:15, 14 January 2007 (PST)

More on producers

Note that there are many tiers of producers: executive producer, co-executive producer, and supervising producer. Many of the supervising producers of Lost also are writers, but the nav-crew box does not list them under producer, but only as writer. At some point, a decision should be made about either expanding the "definition" of the general term "producer", or splitting it up into several lists, e.g. executive, co-executive, and supervising. -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯  Talk 18:17, 5 December 2006 (PST)

duplicates and producers

There were several producers who were not listed at all (Carlton Cuse!), and a bunch of producers who were only listed as writers, and Jack Bender(!) was only listed as a director. For now I've put everyone into the producer section who is listed in Category:Executive producer, including Damon and JJ, who are under creators as well. For now, (at least for the additions into producer), the nav box now has duplicate entries. If that is not the intention, then the "highest" category should be the entry used; thus Adam Horowitz would belong in 'producer' rather than 'writer.' -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯  Talk  01:37, 19 December 2006 (PST)
