  • Note character2, character3 and character4 only appear if filled. Also if one of those categories is filled the actor is added to Category:Actors who play multiple roles. Anything entered in character2, character3 and character4 will not be wikified so if needed please do so, this is to allow for entering of texts such as "(stunt double)" or anything that is not wished to be wikified.

notes

  • In general, Category:Cast is becoming cluttered with background (extras), stunt-doubles, stand-ins, and guest stars.
  • Category:Guest star is one first step into cleaning this up, by creating a separate subcat to Cast.
  • Because the Category:Cast tag is embeded in the Template:Infobox Cast, this new template for Guest Star has been created which embeds Category:Guest star instead, but should otherwise be identical, and maintained as such. This will enabled relatively easy conversion of the templates in the actors' articles from Cast to Guest Star.

Multiple Characters

  • I added to this infobox in hopes of getting rid of the multiple character template. I added 3 new infofields, character2, character3, and character4. They do not appear in the infobox unless filled. When any one of them is filled the actor is added to Category:Actors who play multiple roles. Please not that character2 is wikified where as character3 and character4 are not. This allows text to be entered in character3 and character4 that you do not wish to wikify. See Achilles Gacis or Rand Wilson for an example of this. -Mr.Leaf 12:37, 7 February 2007 (PST)
  • I tweaked it so that a gap won't appear at the bottom of the character list (whether just one or all 4 characters), also 2-4 characters will need to be wikified - hopefully I didnt F*** it up to much! -Kivipat
