Ben Killed Widmore[]
but he said, " you know I can't do that," when Widmore asked him if Ben had come to kill him in The Shape of Things to Come. So, what is the consequence of violating that rule? We haven't seen an actual violation of the "X can't kill Y" rule in play as far as I know. And why would that rule extend to Widmore and Linus? Is it parallel to the rule that MiB lived under (until he tricked Ben into killing Jacob)? Or is it a matter of being a subject to Others jurisprudence?
Will the act of killing Widmore render Ben ineffectual at some crucial point in the finale? That's my guess.
By the way, I started this discussion page so that people would stop posting non-consensus dreck on the actual theory page.... Erielhonan 05:26, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
- Didnt Ben say that when Alex was killed that was also against the rules? I think Widmore broke the rules first. --NandR|talk|contributions 11:59, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
- Ben actually said "you changed the rules". Erielhonan 19:04, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
- I forgot about that 'we can't kill each other' scene. I would say either you are right, or with Jacob dead it no longer applies.--Xocgx 12:54, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
Ben is double crossing Locke[]
- The time will come when Locke orders Ben to kill Jack/Sawyer/Kate/Hurley and he'll reveal that he was playing with him and refuse to do it. It will be Ben's moment of redemption where he actually indirectly saves the island.--Xocgx 12:54, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
Alex Buried?[]
If Richard buried Alex "after you [Ben] left," How was Smokey able to take on her form? Does this mean that the Alex we saw was really Alex? I had always attributed her to Smokey/MiB. --Manix 17:56, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
Smokey/MiB seems to be able to take the form of any dead person whose body is on the island (brother, Locke, Christian Shepard, Alex, etc.) Locke's body is buried on the beach; Brother's body is in a cave. MiB still used their forms to walk around; he's not occupying a physical body. Cracksammich 19:56, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
Zoe is pointless to MIB?[]
MIB killed Zoe because Widmore warned her not to talk to him making her pointless to him. Why is she pointless? I theorize that if people are told not to talk to MIB they can't be turned to the "dark side". --Puchat3k 21:32, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
This makes sense, Sayid was warned not to talk to him (Slide Away 18:32, May 23, 2010 (UTC))
Jack in FST[]
why was Jack bleeding when he woke up? Was this addressed? (Slide Away 18:33, May 23, 2010 (UTC))
- Particularly since his fight with MIB hadn't taken place yet (Slide Away 18:47, May 24, 2010 (UTC))
