This page seriously needed one. I removed Kate (she's Canadian) and added Ana Lucia, Rose, Bernard, Walt, Shannon, and Boone. Do we know yet where Libby is from? I almost added her but wasn't sure so didn't. Lost On Craphole Island 15:48, 16 June 2006 (PDT)

Kate isn't Canadian she is from Iowa she just told that farmer guy (I forgot his name) that she was Canadian because she was on the run from the popos.--CaptainInsano

I suggest we merge all location pages (United States, Canada, London, Michigan, Iowa, Los Angeles, Nigeria, Tahiti, Tallahassee, Tanzania). I just can't think of a good name for such a page, anyone? --Peephole 09:04, 19 July 2006 (PDT)

I'm going to have to disagree. We already have a location category no need to condense it further.--Kericanfly 11:55, 19 July 2006 (PDT)

no need to merge, but shouldn't this page should be called United States in LOST as per Australia in LOST, etc? --kaini. 12:00, 19 July 2006 (PDT)
No: That defeats the purpose of the wiki and categories.    Jabberwock    talk    contribs    email   - 12:01, 19 July 2006 (PDT)
Jabrwocky7 are you saying no to the rename or no to the merge or both.--CaptainInsano
Both.    Jabberwock    talk    contribs    email
  • Okay request denied, but what about merging state and city articles with their respective countries? --Peephole 12:52, 19 July 2006 (PDT)
    • That should depend on whether or not the article is about the show in that country or that country in the show. Because most country articles are mostly scheduling and such. --Kericanfly 12:54, 19 July 2006 (PDT)
      • It's a bit of mess now. I think we should go with Kaini's idea and name this page "United States in Lost" and maybe create a United States page with broadcasting information. The character information should also be removed from United_Kingdom and Canada and entered into new "Country X in Lost" articles. And then I think we should merge city and state articles with their respective countries. They're all very short pages with little information. --Peephole 13:09, 19 July 2006 (PDT)

I still think we should move all info about the characters into a new "United States in Lost" article. Similar to the Australia in Lost, United Kingdom in Lost and Canada in Lost articles. Making this page exclusively about fans and broadcasting.--Peephole 20:38, 31 July 2006 (PDT)

  • I agree that this page, and the corresponding countries pages, are weak & need consistent structure. The list of Lostaways from US is pointless (it could be done better with a category link on people's user pages), and filming locations & airdates are just links to other pages. So I'd vote to Rename this, but only if someone comes up with a consistent format for each of the country pages & makes them look similar - perhaps using an appropriate template? --Jajasoon 09:07, 11 August 2006 (PDT)

Can we list times at which places in the U.S have been mentioned or visited? The could be arranged alphabetically by State. --Princess Dharma (banned) 08:46, 9 February 2007 (PST)

Since most of the characters are from the U.S., most of their flashbacks are going to happen there. That list could get crazy long... just think about how many different places we've seen Kate! Feel free to work on it if you'd like, but it might be a bigger job than expected, and possibly too much for this article. -BearDog 08:49, 9 February 2007 (PST)

New article? --Princess Dharma (banned) 08:50, 9 February 2007 (PST)

  • You totally could, but you might want to take a look at World locations first, is that what you had in mind? :) -BearDog 09:02, 9 February 2007 (PST)

Yeh, I had a look at that and it's got quite a few locations. Thanks Beardog. --Princess Dharma (banned) 09:02, 9 February 2007 (PST)

  • Sorry, but I should have commented on this earlier... I merged the separate list article in, it is basically the same subject, and not really that 'crazy long', actually. It's not a bad idea to arrange by state instead of city (and will keep the other list more manageable, because we can then delete it when people try to list states there), but I just want to remind everyone to please keep both lists updated simultaneously, so there's not more info on one that's not on the other. So if a US location is mentioned by city, list it both on this page by state, and also world locations by city, so people can find it on either list. Also, please keep the order within the states crossreferenced by episode, to minimize duplicates. --PandoraX 03:54, 18 February 2007 (PST)

Welldone Pan. Looks 'crazy cool'. Princess Dharma (banned) 03:58, 18 February 2007 (PST)

Eureka/Humboldt County

In the episode where Locke was on a pot farm, he starts off picking up Eddie on Highway 36 and says that he can take him as far as Bridgeville. If Eddie is wanting to go to Eureka, this means that Locke would have to be coming from Bridgeville from the East. Can't think of why he would drive in that direction for supplies, when he would probably go to Fortuna over on Highway 101, but okay. But if he's going toward Eureka and is on Highway 36 and can only take Eddie as far as Bridgeville, that means that his destination is at or near Bridgeville. Bridgeville is infamous for being sold on eBay.
