Truce?[]
- Is this kit considered canon? Spiral77 23:38, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
- Til we learn otherwise. Most likely the truce will never be explored on the show and we're just supposed to accept this. --Golden Monkey 00:08, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
- Is that why the Orchid was supposed to be kept highly secret too?--Gibbeynator 19:15, December 31, 2009 (UTC)
- It would certainly explain the botanical research cover. It apparently wasn't meant to fool of the DHARMA members, but to fool the Others about what was going on beneath the surface. Dr. Chang seemed pretty comfortable with telling the construction crew what the real purpose of the station was. Anyway I think the answer would be yes to your question. --LOST-The Cartographer 19:36, December 31, 2009 (UTC)
- I was wondering why Dr. Chang was so comfortable blabbing about the secret nature of the Orchid to the build team, while demanding high level secrecy once people started working there.--Gibbeynator 23:25, December 31, 2009 (UTC)
- Yea it could be that it's a slight continuity error, but the better explanation would be that the construction crews were sworn to secrecy on anything they learned about the stations they built. Although as we saw with the foreman they probably would have thought it a load of hooey anyway. --LOST-The Cartographer 00:43, January 1, 2010 (UTC)

Related to pregnancy deaths?[]
Is it possible that the limit on Dharma personnel led to a 'rule' that pregnant women die during childbirth? Esp with regard to "The D.I. can only.." being crossed out, presumably referring to bringing people, and changed to "the max population cannot exceed" paulbrock 01:15, February 3, 2012 (UTC)
- That's an interesting interpretation. You could write up a theory on that. But the literal cause of the pregnancy problem was electromagnetism, which the Incident released (see pregnancy), so that's what the article has to state. --- Balk Of Fame ♪ talk 12:56, February 3, 2012 (UTC)
