Timer[]

The timer seems to be aligned with my computer clock. I changed mine to 12:59:50 PDT 6/7/06 and the timer ran down to .009 seconds then stopped. I tried again, and it stopped at .026. So far nothing else has happened. HansoCurious 15:29, 6 June 2006 (PDT)

Another Easter Egg[]

The "she was an employee" thing was part of the May 30th update and is mentioned in the clue for that day. PS If you set the clock to after the countdown should end, it just spins numbers at you but nothing else happens as far as I can tell.BrightStars1212 15:34, 6 June 2006 (PDT)

Sorry my bad! I checked out the other updates and didn't notice it had already been flagged. I should have looked more carefully --Nickb123 05:36, 7 June 2006 (PDT)

still working?[]

Is this still working? I've tried it in 4 browsers on both Mac & PC, and although the word "disease" is highlighted in each case, clicking on it does nothing (@ 4:20pm, pacific time, 6/6/06) Iahklu 16:21, 6 June 2006 (PDT)

New Clue[]

i just added what appears (to me) to be a new clue. it includes a modification date of today, and i couldn't find any other mention on the site of a dj dan audio podcast from june 1, just the video podcast for that date. i came late to the game, so i missed checking out tel_soul.mov, so i don't know how this audio file might relate to it.Iahklu 18:02, 6 June 2006 (PDT)

Really?[]

Is that Retreivers of Truth thing real? I'm guessing not, but it's too late at night for me to put on my detective hat? Jengod 01:45, 7 June 2006 (PDT)

Okay, never mind. Kid-tested, Speaker-approved. :) Jengod 01:45, 7 June 2006 (PDT)
Don't feel bad. With all the fakes out there, my first thought was one of suspicion also. -- LOSTonthisdarnisland 02:08, 7 June 2006 (PDT)
It's a real site. The Hanso commercial aired during Boston Legal (I was the one who added it to the official sites list and this site as a clue for June 6--I am careful, trust me; I've been fighting the stsebastian thing since the beginning). --PandoraX 06:35, 7 June 2006 (PDT)

emri.perception.net[]

I added this section as a June 6 clue, even though I didn't find it until June 7, because I figure it's kind of part of the whole Retrievers of Truth site. I'm guessing that since the site wasn't revealed until Boston Legal last night, no one really had the chance to drill through and then post about it.

The problem is, emri.perception.net is a hoax/fan site. I actually know the person who makes it, his homepage is on perception.net and he goes by the handle lxicon (you can see his site is already listed in the fake sites list). I believe the inclusion of his site as a link is merely an insider joke and a wink to us that the "Verizon technicians" are on the "same level" as the webmazers (albeit this is a confusing joke)... in much the same way that lostpedia is fan-created, yet there is a screencap of letyourcompassguideyou in DJ Dan's YouTube podcast. Until we have confirmation that it is "in game", I think we should leave emri clues in the discussion portion, and I'm deleting it from the main page. --PandoraX 10:50, 7 June 2006 (PDT)
Thanks to whoever rewrote the main page with a clear note about the nature of the site as being out-of-game; I think this is proper linking that won't be too misguiding. For lxicon's own words on his site, scroll to the bottom of this section. -PandoraX 06:17, 11 June 2006 (PDT)

Does anyone know how to decode the string of numbers hidden on Hanso's bio page? I'm hopeless at that kind of thing. Math is a foreign language to me.--Tweedman 7 June 11:53

If you put the numbers into an ASCII converter they translate to:
>tcejbo/<>/ "reyalphsalfteg/og/moc.aidemorcam.www//:ptth"=egapsnigulp "hsalf-evawkcohs-x/noitacilppa"=epyt "niamoDemas"=sseccAtpircSwolla "elddim"=ngila "tpmorp"=eman "941"=thgieh "332"=htdiw "333333#"=rolocgb "hgih"=ytilauq "fws.tpmorp"=crs debme<>/ "333333#"=eulav "rolocgb"=eman marap<>/ "hgih"=eulav "ytilauq"=eman marap<>/ "fws.tpmorp"=eulav "eivom"=eman marap<>/ "niamoDemas"=eulav "sseccAtpircSwolla"=eman marap<>"elddim"=ngila "tpmorp"=di "941"=thgieh "332"=htdiw "0,0,0,6=noisrev#bac.hsalfws/hsalf/sbac/evawkcohs/bup/moc.aidemorcam.daolnwodpf//:ptth"=esabedoc "000045355444-8b69-fc11-d6ea-e6bdc72d:dislc"=dissalc tcejbo<fig.2_rtlohg/segami

Which is backwards html code:

When you add images/gholtr_2.gif to the site address you get:

from Lizrdgizrd 6/7/06 16:06 GMT

Tweedman again: Interesting that this is a hoax/fan site, since it's referenced on a site that Speaker says is legitimate. Some kind of in-joke that I'm missing, I guess.

Here are lxicon's own words about why he might be linked from the in-game site:
http://www.losttv-forum.com/forum/showpost.php?p=714478&postcount=3082
I think he is as incredulous as the rest of us, but flattered for the recognition. :)

Passwords?[]

Has anyone tried replacing the timer with any combination of "Waking Dream" and "YOU"? I'd try, but my computer is being grumpy. --Jujo 09:17, 7 June 2006 (PDT)

I dont think that that was an important thing. I think that being able to change the words on the timer was just a glitch or something, because if it was important, they would have left it up for us to get the clue from even after it hit zero. Valenzetti 00:39, 14 June 2006 (PDT)
