In "A Tale of Two Cities", there was an earthquake in the Barracks when Desmond failed to push the button. But in "Live Together, Die Alone" although there was a stronger system failure, there was no earthquake. What do you think of it? --Kemot from Poland 02:21, 27 March 2007 (PDT)

Revision as of 09:21, 27 March 2007

I don't think this needs to be merged with the Incident. It's possible that "the Incident" is one occasion on which a system failure occurred, but we also know that at least two other system failures have occurred. In other words, the Incident may or may not have been a system failure, but not all system failures are the Incident. Picayune76 21:51, 24 May 2006 (PDT)

destub

how is this a stub? i think this is a perfectly good article in and of itself.--Two Coyotes 21:18, 24 July 2006 (PDT)

agreed, this one is a nobrainer. destubbed and added a see also... --kaini. 21:24, 24 July 2006 (PDT)

Theories of the Incindent

I just wanted to say that it is not a theory that Incident is responsible for the Button protocol. Marvin Candle clearly states in the Swan Orientation video that the Incident is the reason for the button.

Rename

Unneccessary capitalisation of 'failure' - rename to System failure. --SilvaStorm

 • Rename No need for caps in this name as well-- 16:44, 12 December 2006 (PST)
 • Keep In the show it was capitalised, so it should be here too. --Blueeagleislander 02:39, 14 December 2006 (PST)
 • Keep, Agree with BEI--lewisg 04:24, 14 December 2006 (PST)
 • Keep for reasons above--Mr.Leaf 19:22, 17 December 2006 (PST)
 • Keep. Otherwise, I would say rename, but we should follow what the show says.--LOCI!
 • Keep No need to lowercase 'failure'. --James W. 17:33, 23 January 2007 (PST)
