(Re)merge with Nicknames[]

I think that ONLY Sawyer's nicknames should have a separate page because he has the longest list of nicknames.- I agree that since Sawyer is the king of nicknames his page should be separate like it is. --LOST-Flash 06:34, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

Discussion: Sources for Nicknames[]
Some of Sawyer's nicknames on this page do not have episode sources. I cannot find sources for any of the following nicknames on the page:
- Captain Bligh (Michael)
- Mr. Muscle (Eko)
- Sabu (Hurley)
- Gumby (Hurley)
- El Docko (Jack)
- Yo-Jin-Bo (Jin)
- Madame Butterfly (Sun)
Does anybody know the episodes where these nicknames came from? I can't seem to find the sources. I'm trying to refurbish this page and add crossrefs for every nickname. -- CTS Talk Contribs 00:38, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
Season sub sections[]
I don't think the season sub-sections are necessary on this page. It's kind of redundant. I think it would be better if we just arranged all of the nicknames by episode under the names, rather than create subsections for each season. -- CTS Talk Contribs 00:38, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
- I think that this page should differ from the main Nicknames article more. I think that we should have at least a small analysis of the origins of his nicknames (movies, TV shows etc.) when he uses them. I think that an analysis article is better than a continuation of the original nicknames list. --Orhan94 00:45, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
- I like that idea, but I think having analysis for all of his nicknames may be a little long and unnecessary. Many of Sawyer's nicknames contain links to Wikipedia (which explains their origins) and crossrefs. However, I like the idea of doing analysis for the nicknames, but I'm still unsure. - I think that we should do an analysis of the nicknames in general and list nicknames throughout the analysis just as examples. I think that we should separate the list from the analysis, in other words. Keep the list as it was on the original Nicknames article, on one sub-section and use the rest of the article of general analysis (about the references he uses in the nicknames, the characters and characteristics he mocks (Jumbotron, Norma Rae...) and points out (Freckles, Blondie...) with the nicknames etc.). --Orhan94 09:26, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
