As it wasexplained in 5x08 that DHARMA operated a sub and that its personnel traveled back to the mainland for at lease one reason (giving birth), there is no reason to indicate that DHARMA personnel shown in The Man Behind the Curtain are dead except for those who are shown dead from the Purge or by other means.

It based on Faraday's depressed assumption that the young red-headed girl is Charlotte, and so it would be reaching an unsupported conclusion to show the "Young Charlotte" image as that of Charlotte.

Merge proposal[]

This info repeats the DHARMA members portal, and the stations are all under the mysterious happenings portal. --Nickb123 (Talk) 04:37, 15 August 2008 (PDT)

They're all on the payroll?[]

This article indicates that certain people are DHARMA Initiative employees when we really don't know that they were... it shows some that were most likely not employees. The Chang baby? Annie? Charlotte? Some of these people were with DHARMA but not all of them were actually members of the DHARMA Initiative. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Highbrow (talkcontribs) 10:59, 17 March 2009.

Getting rid of PURPLE?[]

In Season Three, it was important to note when a DHARMA person (Ben) had defected to our side. Now, three years later, it's no longer important. What's important is noting if they're in 1977 or 2008 -- so shouldn't we get rid of the purple color, and make Ben dark green, for Island-present?

  • Disagree the purple is used to represent when a character has changed factions from their original faction (ie: DHARMA, Others, Kahana or Survivors). There are still defected characters and it's worth noting them on the page. For example, Ben is now with the Survivors from the Others, Jack/Sawyer/Hurley/Kate are DHARMA from the Survivors, Locke is Survivors from the Others formerly from the Survivors, Juliet is DHARMA from the Survivors formerly from the Others and Miles/Daniel are DHARMA from Survivors formerly from Kahana. There are more, but I don't wanna list them all. The point is it conveys information that would otherwise be left out. Actually, while I'm on the subject, I think we should be using the red portal only for deceased characters on their final faction, and any factions they were in previously should be purple. For example, on the Kahana page Charlotte should be purple (defected to Survivors) and then red on the Survivors page.  Jimbo the Tubby  talk  contributions  15:19, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
    • All right, I think I got you. So, just to be clear, Ben's listing right now on the DHARMA page is incorrect, right? It says he defected from DHARMA to Survivors. When realistically, it should say he defected from DHARMA to Others. And then on the Others page, it should say (which it does) that he defected from Others to Survivors. Is that right? Ethan[]

Should be listed as "Deceased" as he was shot by Charlie Pace. Yes he is alive as a baby, but that is in his past (1977). It just happens to be the O6's present. Chronologically speaking he should be listed as dead.--Arjayoh 13:35, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Agree. Same with Horace, Roger and anyone else whom we know for certain dies.  Jimbo the Tubby  talk  contributions  19:07, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

tentative agree dude. I really think its strange to have all these people be listed as alive. At the very very least, the other categories should have "fate unknown" tacked on (as in On Island Past-- fate unknown) There's no way this many people survived the purge. Amber1713 03:13, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

  • Ooh, I like that. We could add a commentary section for the "On Island - Past" portal which contains the fate of a character. That way we could have "dead", "unknown" and "alive" or whatnot. Does anyone else agree?  Jimbo the Tubby  talk  contributions  03:19, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
    • How about a new colour for Dead in the present, Alive in the past? It should be brown, I think DECBOY 18:55, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Yes i think defining the past people in the past and the present people as two separate entities is a good idea, however you do that.

On Island/Past redundant[]

Seeing as the time traveling is finished for now, and may not happen again, shouldn't any Dharma cast we haven't seen die or have not been seen since Juliet detonated the bomb be list as unknown? Blender83 01:18, February 22, 2010 (UTC)
