I'm thinking of removing the references to newer tech - the VCR is actually older than anything else we've seen, and given the size of the station and the multiple video screens, it makes sense to have a VCR instead of film and a projector like in The Swan. Also, both computers used the same serifed fonts - they are not different. Thoughts? --The CyberSlug 21:43, 24 May 2006 (PDT)

I second that. Both stations were persumably built in the eighties, and u-matic tapes were available starting from 1969. Plus, there's another contradiction, on top of the serif font on the Swan computer- the Swan's orientation film contains an older Mark Wickman, even though it uses an older technology to hold the footage. --AlienChickenPie 06:56, 24 July 2006 (PDT)

Disk drives

The Swan computer doesn't have disk drives, does it? - GoodRom 15:41, 1 December 2006 (PST)

Perhaps the Pearl Computer has a Swan logo to reflect the fact that it monitors the Swan's computer, and not a prop reuse goof or production mistake at all. - GoodRom 15:47, 1 December 2006 (PST)
