Came here after viewing "LA X" to research why Others are so concerned re: collecting/preserving corpses. Paul's ankh necklace seems to be "value added" to the Others. Also tied up in this may be Richard's call for "justice". Thinking answer to this will help explain Nemesis' use of Christian, Locke, as well as whoever now inhabits Sayiid.
