My name is Nicholi and I have done a lot of work on the McClain building. I have moved away since then and have learned of the unfortunate news of the passing of friend and business owner Marty McClain. He was a very good man with a masters in business and a successful business in auctions. He left behind his wife Wendy and his new daughter. His death was untimely and he is missed by many. I was fortunate to have worked on that building. I was 20 when I took a job with contractor Kelly Plemmins. While we were there, we did many things to improve the building. The glossy wood floors and big wood door along with gate and stained glass, were hours of our labor. The room I am talking about is the one used in both episodes 1x04 and 3x08. I later installed the gate on the side of the building seen in episode 2x12 with the help of the gate builder. Kelly and I along with some other guys pretty much did all the remodeling of that place. We didn't do things like the A/C or the outside paint or the security cameras. The big doors I in the picture, that I was talking about earlier, almost didn't make it to be in Lost. There was this old Thai man named Hy that worked for the McClains for many years. He was instructed to oil the new doors. When he finished, he threw the rag with oil on it in a trash can that was right by the doors. He locked up for the night and went home. I, at the time had left working for Kelly to work on Hickham Airforce Base, next to Pearl Harbor and was on my way home when Kelly called me. I rushed over to see our doors just barely saved! It was a relief to see our efforts did not burn up before our eyes. Just thought I would share that story with you. I took this picture for portfolio reasons, not even knowing at the time, that it would end up on Lost.

Other than that, I got to see both ends of the airplane. The front was in the boonies of Kaneohe, East Oahu and the back was all the way over in Mokuleia, North Oahu. The cast was there filming when I saw the back. I got to see them film a few times; Once downtown and over by my old house in Kaneohe a few times.
