No polls anymore?

I noticed that the poll space is missing on the Main Page, so I wonder if Wikia is not compatible with Polldaddy or the poll is currently under construction. --Calick 21:21, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

Season/Episode Template Boxes

I'm not quite sure where to put this, so feel free to move this to the appropriate page. On the template boxes for Seasons 2, 3, and 4, the episode names are gone (if you don't know what I mean, go to any episode in those three seasons, and look at the purple box at the top of the article. I am sure this is just a consequence of switching over to Wikia, but it needs to be fixed. I can't, because I have no idea how to do so (I couldn't even find the page for those template boxes to put this comment on the right page). Thanks. LOST-David 21:52, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

• I was going to comment about this too, since I just noticed it and was having problems editing Jack's page to correct the crossref links (I assume those are the "expensive parser function calls" being referred to). I have a possible suggestion to help remedy the situation: I also help edit the Heroes Wiki site[1]; maybe the really long pages like character profiles could summarize each section (i.e. Before the crash, Season 1, Season 2, After the Island, etc.), and add additional pages to read detailed information for each section. Countdown at the top is gone?

I would like to know why the contents of MediaWiki:Sitenotice no longer show at the top of the site? I don't know if this is the same for everyone, but I miss the countdowns being there. --Baker1000 20:15, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

It might be just you, as I still see it. Be careful that you didn't click "dismiss" at the top of the page, as that removes the sitenotice when you're logged in. Try logging out and see if you then see it. --Nickb123 (Talk) 20:36, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

You can't get it back on your own. One of the Admins has to edit MediaWiki:Sitenotice id and replace the current number with the next one (3 in this case). This should always be done after adding any news to the sitenotice. --DerAndre ^(talk) 00:12, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

S5 Cast

I think it would currently be safe to the S5, and just leave it alone for the articles on the characters where we know they're in S5. I know you guys don't believe in spoilers, but, at this point, the cast isn't even a spoiler anymore. It's common sense. And then using their S5 posters at that. To me, that's a huge load of it. Depends on what you mean by "the cast". If you mean the press released information about Season 5 in general, which lists just the characters on the promotional items and in the overaching Season 5 press release, thats fine. If you mean cast appearing in episodes that have yet to be mentioned in press releases... no. Not at all. --Plkrtn 15:53, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Main Page Info Boxes

Is there anyway we can change the little icons in the info boxes from the Main Page to Lost icons? I know it's a very small image which limits our choices, but we were able to make the "New to Lostpedia" box have one, mabey we could come up with something a little more related to Lost than a picture of a blue clock, I don't think this is an idea but more of a suggestion for the front page.-- SawBucks  Talk  Contribs  20:47, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

May I suggest a selection to the menu Box on the left side to go to the Podcast Selection page? It makes it easier than haveing to go into search

There's No Place Like Home, Enhanced?

While watching ABC tonight, I saw an ad for LOST. It advertised the season premiere, but also last year's season finale with "extra information," airing Jan. 14 (this coming Wednesday). From what they showed, it looked to be identical to the other enhanced episodes from Season 4, with the green tab at the bottom of the screen. I was wondering (a) if anyone here knew about that (b) if that's the type of thing that would be added to the TWOL section on the front page. Obviously the premiere is more important, but it's a nice present the week before the premiere. LOST-David 07:20, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

I haven't even heard about this yet, this is something we might want to advertise a little for the people who don't watch ABC and such regularly. I miss out on some of the commercials for the show (or as I call them "Spoilers") by not watching the channel all the time. Two Episodes?

I just wanted to check with anyone that knows for a fact if were having two lost episodes on the same day in the USA? On the main page it states that "Because You Left" & "The Lie" are both airing on January 21, but not in the other countries. Season 5 Irish airdate

Season 5 will premiere in Ireland on RTÉ 2 on Sunday January 25th at 21:00, the first two episodes will be shown. Perhaps some one could update this, please. I know Sky One is also available in Ireland but more people in Ireland have access to RTÉ 2 (the national broadcaster) than do Sky. The recap episode "LOST: Destiny Calls" will be shown Saturday 24th at 18:00 (At least I assume this is a recap). Further info on this recap episode, according to the tv listings available from RTÉs presspack for Jan 24th, this will air on RTÉ 2 from 18:35 rather than 18:00, which makes more sense for a recap than an hour and a half. see: http://www.rte.ie/presspack/20090124listings.html

I couldn't find a better place to post this message (like a Discussion page for the current AOTW) On the Featured Article of Week 3, 2009 ("There's No Place Like Home, Parts 2 & 3"), the introduction says "...try to diffuse the C-4..." It should be "defuse", right?

Darlton's Dharma Initiative Announcement Has Mild Spoilers

I'm not sure where to put this, so please move/copy, etc. this to where it should go. In the most recent email from Darlton, they discuss the upcoming premiere(s) on Wednesday. However, in the content of the message, they discuss who the two episodes center on. If you wouldn't like it to be spoiled for you (as I didn't), don't read their email. I'm surprised that the new season has started and there is nothing on the front page to reflect this. I think there should be one at least every couple of days. Blog Listing Page

Now that there are a steady stream of community blogs posts what do you guys think about adding a Blog listing widget to the main page to surface the posts more (right now they aren't getting many comments which may be because no-one is noticing them?.
