Will it have 6 episode discs or 4 episode discs, cause the first season had six, but the menu pictures only show 4 of them --CaptainInsano

Since the set is 7 discs, there's no reason to cram the episodes on just 4 discs. I figure they will be divided the same as on the S1 set. -- Jonathan Fakenham

Canine Castaway?[]

The site here says that there's a segment on Madison in the DVD, however I cannot seem to find this. Was this canned, is it hidden somewhere, or am I just blind? Therum 14:37, 9 September 2006 (EST)

  • I couldn't find this on the standard DVD Disc 7 either, so I removed this from the list, and reorganized the featurettes by the Phases they are listed under. Someone needs to clarify just where this Madison bonus feature is; if it is an Easter Egg or Best Buy special feature, then it needs to be clearly stated as such in those areas, not in the standaard Disc 7 section. --PandoraX 19:52, 21 December 2006 (PST)

British release of Lost Season 2 DVD[]

I've read on several sites that the entire R1 edition of Lost comes out in October.

[DVDActive] confirms that British R2 edition of Lost Series 2: Part 1 (Episodes 1-12)comes out here July 17th priced £34.99. Part 2 will likely come out at the end of the season and be equally priced.

This splitting of long series is annoying and expensive for us UK Lost fans, but it is a tactic used often here, especially for CSI!--deep 01:57, 9 June 2006 (PDT)

It is annoying, but I live in Britain and am pleased that I own the first half on DVD, despite the series not finishing on TV yet. The RRP was very high, £34.99, but I got it for £25 which is OK. Most places slashed the prices fairly early, and I think there will be more extras if it is right to believe there are only 4 discs in the complete boxset, as there are 4 discs in ours. --The Smiley-Faced Balloon 08:21, 17 August 2006 (PDT)

They also release a complete box set at the end of the Season. When Part 2 comes out. The full Season 2 box set will also be released --plkrtn 11:43, 6 September 2006 (PDT)

Now I'm Confused[]

  • Okay ABC.com has it for like 41.99 and it says it is 3 disc. What the hell is going on?--CaptainInsano
    • It's a typo. Further down the description it states 'Number of discs: 7'. -- LOSTonthisdarnisland 02:50, 14 September 2006 (PDT)

Commentary Menu Backgrounds[]

For the commentary menu of MOSMOF, it says it shows a hallway of the Swan. If memory serves, it is the hallway of the Arrow, but I don't have the picture handy so I'm not sure. And I don't want to go making changes unless I am sure they are right. Can any one back this up? --Fezir 18:40, 26 July 2006 (PDT)

Found it: I can't direct-link to the picture, but it is on the following link, along with all of the other menus. [1] The menu is of the Arrow and I will edit that now.--Fezir 18:40, 26 July 2006 (PDT)

Merging[]

We should directly add the intel on the page concerning "Series 2 Part 1" into this page ; more info and ideas on how to do this: Series 2 Part 1 talk page -- SGC.Alex 00:24, 2 August 2006 (PDT)

No Merge They are 2 different dvd sets, one is for England with half the season with different easter eggs and features, one is for Northern America with their own easter eggs and features for the whole season - --TimDM85 (Talk)23:48, 5 September 2006 (PDT)
No Merge Part 1 is a very different set for UK users only. Very different. We get three different DVD releases for one season of Lost. --plkrtn 11:44, 6 September 2006 (PDT)
No Merge I agree, they are two very different sets, and thus, deserve seperate articles. --Fezir 20:43, 6 September 2006 (PDT)

No Merge Different extras, different packaging, different release. It should stay seperate.--

Easter Eggs[]

I have confirmed the Easter Eggs that have descriptions in the Bonus Disc Phase 1 & 2 sections. However, some of the listed Easter Eggs I have not been successful in accessing. It could be just user error but if someone could confirm these other Easter Eggs that would be great. If there is a general consensus that these are fake then we can remove them later. And yes, the Hurley sweat thing is 100% true. It's funny clip discussing fake sweat and real sweat.--scocub

I have been able to get to all easter eggs except I can't find Eko and the rigth wire, and I can't enter the numbers in correctly so I don't know what happens if I do--TimDM85 (Talk) 6 September 10:09 (PDT)

I'm not sure what the Eko easter egg should be, as far as I found, the right wire takes you to the Richard Malkin section... --User:Lunatik 9/6/06 7:00pm EST

The clip it plays when going from Eko to Malkin did not appear in the episode; it's a deleted scene. Jeremiahsmith 15:50, 7 September 2006 (PDT)
That really should have been clarified, then. I did so just now. Therum 14:32, 9 September 2006 (EST)

Sawyer's Nicknames[]

Has anyoen found this yet? Damon said there'd be a special feature where all of Sawyer's nicknames are edited together in a clip. Is it there? It's not on the list.

It's on the 7th disc in a clip called "The World According to Sawyer". --CrystalSkull 09:43, 7 September 2006 (PDT)

Lost Connections[]

  • Does anyone have any ideas why some characters have two wires to the same person?--Dicola 20:29, 6 September 2006 (PDT)
  • Perhaps to emphasize the connection as significant? Jeremiahsmith 15:49, 7 September 2006 (PDT)
  • Request- please define "Lost Connections" in the article body - I don't have the DVD and have no idea what this is after reading the article. Some editor should write a one line description (both in the TOC area and the Lost Connections area) briefly summarizing what this feature actually is. It should be a wiki article first, and a list second. Thanks! -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯  Talk 23:32, 6 September 2006 (PDT)
    • OK I wrote a quick draft for now, but it should be clarified or rewritten.
"Lost Connections is a special main menu feature of this DVD set that shows scenes with character connections."
-- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯  Talk 03:46, 7 September 2006 (PDT)
  • can do! i just worked like 5 hours on that list though, but yeah, it does need some explination... you didn't buy the dvd's?!?! --TimDM85 (Talk) 08:59, 7 September 2006 (PDT)
  • Can we get a consensus as to whether or not Lost Connections should have its own page? This list is great, but it's making the page super long.--scocub
  • I totally think it should have it's own page, i guess since i started it that your asking me, go ahead and make a new page, go for it scocub! :) --TimDM85 (Talk)14:14 7 September 2006 (PDT)

Typing in the Numbers[]

Disc 4 ep menu music[]

  • Someone has mistakenly added to the page that it's an instrumental version of "These Arms of Mine". This is false, and I'm removing that. --Agent Jeremy 21:18, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
  • What is that song anyway?--Swan-Operator:Radzinsky 11:31, October 16, 2010 (UTC)Swan:Operator-Radzinsky 22:11, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

DVD time listings[]

  • Just confused, is the time listed for The Other 48 Days and What Kate Did correct, because I thought the aired versions were extended episodes, so is the dvd set shorter in length and not 45-46 mins as aired on ABC.
