Shouldn't The Man in Black be listed as defected?

Jacob's nemesis or not, it is almost indisputable that (taking on the assumption that MiB was all incarnations of the Smoke Monster, which Lostpedia thus far indeed has) The Man in Black is part of the hierarchy of The Others. He has done them services such as being summoned by them to kill off threats, was nominated to judge Ben (an ex-leader himself), even served as a faux-leader for a couple of days. He's not on their side at the moment for sure, but he has defected just as much as Widmore and Eloise, and for consistency's sake he should be on here. --Darkhunt45 22:16, February 27, 2010 (UTC)

  • Rename: To "List of Others" (with a capital O).--TechNic|talk|conts 13:48, 1 June 2008 (PDT)

New Traffic light system

Here’s how I see it:
Alive = Green
Defected = Yellow?
Unknown = Orange
Off Island = Purple
Dead = Red

Please see Kahana for a good example, I belive that this should be used on every article to give the site consistency. --Rbfskywalker 14:27, 3 June 2008 (PDT)

Claire and Christian?

I was thinking about whether or not Christian and Claire should be included in this list. While they are not Others in the same sense that Locke and Richard are, they so seem to have a role a Jacob's representatives, which would make them part of the entire group that is under Jacob, namely the Others. What do you guys think? And if we do include them, should we try to fit them into one of the current color groups, even though nothing quite fits them ("Orange"/"Unknown" is the best match, but I don't think it's quite right) or should we give them their own color? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ArchangelRJ (talkcontribs) 2008-06-08T03:09:19.

  • While it is an interesting interpretation, fan speculation or interpretation does not belong in the article. -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯  Talk  02:49, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

The 10th Other

I made a mini of him and added him to the table since he was killed in the Beach raid at the end of Season 3.--Mistertrouble189 01:59, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

  • Reverted. That's an uncredited nonspeaking background extra, who is already covered in that box for extras, and described in greater detail as #29. -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯  Talk  02:51, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Locke (after The Incident, Parts 1 & 2)

We need to change where Locke is on the list. I'd do it myself, but I'm not sure what exactly to do with him. Dead? Defected? Alive? Unknown? --Crash815 Talk 14:22, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

  • Locke is dead and has always been since Ben killed him. That person is not Locke, is Jacob's enemy and has been since he appeared on the Hydra island beach after Ajira crash. --Metalpotato - Talk - Contributions - 15:38, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
    • Okay. That's what I figured we'd do, but I wasn't totally sure. --Crash815 Talk 15:43, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

As of "LA X"

Shouldn't Dogen, Lennon and the other Others at the temple, be on this list? We know their Others and since Cindy and the kids are with them all the more proves it.

Any thoughts? Shortguy457 02:09, February 6, 2010 (UTC)
