With the way timelines get twisted in this show, and how dead characters keep coming back, I'm beginning to think the designation "Deceased" doesn't have much value. --Doc 20:49, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Updating Members

Please update the list, putting Jack, Hurley and Kate, and the 1977 recruiters. Thanks--Veracrux 01:07, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Does anyone have screencaps of the DHARMA members at the vote in He's Our You? I would like to update this page with anyone new seen at this meeting.---Linus2342 19:47, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Inconsistent perspective on Character statuses.

I think our perspective on this list is inconsistent, and needs to be corrected in some fashion. The inconsistency lies in the way the characters are listed here. Our main characters (like Sawyer), whom are now members of DHARMA, we have labeled as "Alive in 1977," implying that the page is about the status of these characters from the perspective of 1977. Characters that we have met before such as Horace and new characters such as Amy are also "Alive in 1977," yet we have them marked, respectively, as "Deceased" and "Unknown," indicating a 2008 perspective. Which should we be presenting on this list; a present of 1977, 2008, or both? Should we indicate a character's 1977 status when their status is otherwise in 2008? I think we should, but what say everyone else? --  SacValleyDweller    talk    contribs   21:15, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Perhaps add a category of "alive in 1977, but dead by 2008"? Kind of clumsy, but it could work, at least until we're out of Dharma times on the show. -Rawr? 04:17, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Daniel Faraday's Status

Since Daniel Faraday is no longer a member of the Initiative, he should be marked as "Defected" or "Unknown."

  • Sawyer's comment in Namaste is wide open for interpretation. All he said was that he's "not [here] anymore". It's possible that Faraday is working at the Orchid, left the island to work at the Lamp Post, or went crazy and is in the Dharma mental institution. No real reason to believe that he's defected from Dharma.

New DHARMA member

He appeared in "He's Our You". I couldn't read the name but appears as "Clire" to me. Not sure if this is a given male name. Job title isn't clear as well. Anyone with HDTV can check this one? — Iimitk  T  C  19:55, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

  • I'm pretty sure its "Clive". It's a male name. --Mistertrouble189 21:17, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. Any luck with his job title on the jumpsuit? — Iimitk  T  C  21:32, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Unfortunetly its too blurry for me, maybe better luck for someone else--Mistertrouble189 22:16, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
No problem. Meanwhile, article Clive done. :) — Iimitk  T  C  22:29, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Another New DHARMA Member?

  • In Some Like it Hoth, a Dharma member is seen at The Orchid whose jumpsuit appears to say "Derek" on it. According to the logo and job title, he works in security. The 57th screencap in the section labeled "HQ Screencaps Galore" on this page "some-like-it-hoth"-screencaps-easter-eggs-audio-analysis/ shows this man. Should we add him or is he to minor?--Linus2342 00:44, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
    • If the link gives you the "Error 404" message just search "Some Like it Hoth" in the upper right hand corner. It should take you right to the page.--Linus2342 00:49, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
  • Cool find, could you upload it (the pic) and post it here?--Mistertrouble189 01:48, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
  • Sorry, the domain on the clear screencap I had expired. I Can't find any others.--Linus2342 20:40, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Eric, Tony and the Changs

How come Eric, Tony and Dr. Chang and his wife are listed as unknown? Shouldn't they be alive?--Mistertrouble189 21:23, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

  • I think it was because we didn't know what time period we were in for that first scene in "Because You Left", but now, I don't know. Personally, anyone that we haven't seen in the present day (2004-2008) should be unknown. Anyone we know has died since 1977 should be put under deceased. (i.e. Horace, Lara, Radzinsky, Charlotte, Ethan, etc) Then in the notes section we can put the death year. (i.e. Horace died in 1992, Lara died in the late 1990s, Radzinsky died between 1991 (the earliest Kelvin would have arrived) and 2001 (when Desmond arrived), Charlotte died during a time shift, Ethan died in 2004.) --Crash815 Talk 02:04, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

I think that we should have two columns for all these lists, one for the seventies and another for "present" (2007/2008). Something like this:

Picture Name Role Status in 1977 Status in Present time Overview
5x13 Lara
Lara Chang Scientist In the Galaga Unknown DHARMA Initiative scientist. The wife of Pierre Chang and mother of Miles. Left the Island with her son in 1977, when her husband ordered the evacuation of women and children.
Jeanette Lewis Unknown In the Galaga Unknown Mother of Charlotte and wife of David Lewis. She was evacuated from the Island in 1977 with her daughter on the Submarine.
Charlotte Lewis Student In the Galaga Deceased Lived with the DHARMA Initiative as a child at the Barracks in the 70's. In 1977 she was evacuated from the Island with her Mother. Upon returning to the Island, as an adult, Charlotte died as a consequence of the Island's violent time shifts.
Ethan Rom Infant In the Galaga? Deceased Infant. Son of Amy and Horace Goodspeed. Joined the Others under unknown circumstances. Murdered by Charlie Pace in 2004.
Horace Goodspeed Co-leader In the Barracks? Deceased DHARMA Leader on the Island, Mathematician. Brought Roger & Ben Linus to the Island. Died during the Purge.
Stuart Radzinsky Head of Research Near the Swan Deceased DHARMA Head of Research and second-in-command to Horace. Member of the Swan Station personnel. Died before 2001.
Pierre Chang Theoretical Astrophysicist Near the Swan Unknown DHARMA Theoretical Astrophysicist. Narrator of the DHARMA orientation films at the Barracks, the Swan and the Pearl. He is the husband of Lara and the father of Miles.
Roger Linus Workman In the Barracks Deceased DHARMA Workman who wore a Swan badge and operated a DHARMA van. He is the father of Ben Linus. Killed by Ben during the Purge.
Ben Linus Workman/Student Defected, in the Temple? Alive, under the Statue Attended the DHARMA Initiative school on the island and eventually became a DHARMA workman. He allied himself with the Hostiles and participated in The Purge.
Jim LaFleur aka James "Sawyer" Ford Head of Security Banished, near the Swan Travelled back to 1974 Joined The DHARMA Initiative in 1974 after helping Horace deal with the hostiles and became Head of Security.
Juliet Burke Mechanic Banished, inside the Swan's hole Travelled back to 1974 Joined The DHARMA Initiative in 1974 and worked as a mechanic at the Motor Pool.
Jin-Soo Kwon Security Officer Defected, near the Swan Travelled back to 1974 Joined The DHARMA Initiative in 1974 and worked as a Security officer.
Miles Straume Security Officer Defected, near the Swan (adult); in the Galaga (infant) Travelled back to 1974 Joined DHARMA in 1974 and worked as a Security officer. Two versions of Miles (infant and adult) were present in 1977.
Jack Shephard Workman Defected, near the Swan Travelled back to 1977 Joined DHARMA in 1977 as a Workman and worked as a Janitor. Shortly after joining DHARMA he escaped after his true identity came under suspicion.
Kate Austen Mechanic Defected, near the Swan Travelled back to 1977 Joined The DHARMA Initiative in 1977 as a mechanic and worked at the Motor Pool. Shortly after joining DHARMA she escaped after her true identity came under suspicion.
Hugo Reyes Chef Defected, near the Swan Travelled back to 1977 Joined The DHARMA Initiative Chef in 1977 and worked as a Cook.
Alvarez Construction Worker Deceased None Part of the construction crew who was building the Swan station. Killed when the metal filling in his tooth being ripped from his mouth and shot right through his head because of the electromagnetic anomaly.
Daniel Faraday aka Joe Scientist Deceased Travelled back to 1974 DHARMA Scientist/Construction Worker. After three years in DHARMA he was shot dead by a Hostile after entering their territory. The Hostile was none other than Daniel's mother, Eloise Hawking.
Phil Security Officer Deceased None DHARMA Initiative Security. Killed during the Incident in 1977.

And the colors... Well, I am using for this proposal only "1977 colors", because we don't know if Juliet has changed everything... Everyone alive in the sub or the island at the moment of the incident should be considered as unknwon status (because we don't know the size of the explosion). And with dead people... Those who have died before the incident (Alvares, Daniel, Phil, etc), deceased, and those who have died later (Charlotte, Roger, the purge people, etc), unknown too, because we don't know if history has changed...

I'm proposing this in all the other lists, I think the status of everyone alive at the moment of the incident in the island or the sub is unknown. --Metalpotato - Talk - Contributions - 01:39, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

DHARMA members at the shootout

During the 1977 Barracks battle Jack shoots several DHARMA members. During this scene, the names of some of the the victims can clearly be seen on their jumpsuits, but wherever I look, I can't find any good screencaps that would allow us to read the names/ job titles. I noticed a "Gregory" who worked in security, but besides him, I can't read anyone else's jumpsuit. I'll enter a screencap request on DarkUFO's site.--Linus2342 20:54, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

  • Here's the link to the picture of "Gregory". It may be a bit hazy, but if you look at the letters carefully you can see it spells that name. Does anyone have any other screencaps of the DHARMA members seen during that scene? Link:[1]--Linus2342 21:48, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

We forget Ray (DHARMA Initiative).--Station7 22:22, February 16, 2010 (UTC)
