Lost Links has the entire comic online[]

Lost links has scans of the entire comic, every page plus the front and back. I'll provide links later on if someone doesn't get to it first. --Jmast7 11:27, 2 April 2006 (PST)

Faster Friends #2?[]

I hate starting a story and not knowing the ending...Anyone know what happens in the second part of the comic book? --Jujo 08:43, 2 June 2006 (PDT)

Unsolved?[]

Does this really still belong in the Unsolved category?--NotARedHerring 20:44, 22 October 2006 (PDT)

Merge[]

Yeah, without question this was a good nomination for merge with Green Lantern and Flash. IMHO, Comic book should serve as the main article with all the content, and GL&F should remain a page that redirects here. That way we can consolodate the info and people don't have to go back and forth. --PandoraX 06:27, 29 October 2006 (PST)

  • Merge: No other comic book has been feauted in LOST. I think it would be both safe and smart to merge it with Green Lantern, which would make for a really great article. -- Liz

Purgatory[]

What does purgatory have to do with Locke's disability?

Purgatory was a character who had a similar disability but managed to overcome it by means of a combination of external gifts - a limited power grant by Kyle Rayner, the erstwhile Green Lantern, and a significant boost by a devil-like new character named Neron. It all happened either during Underworld Unleashed or shortly before it. I assume the intent is to suggest that Locke may have done a "deal with the Devil" in some sense, or at least that he may have a moral dilemma related to his disability to deal with at some point. See the links on the names above for more info. Luis Dantas 05:35, 26 January 2007 (PST)

"The Flash"[]

In S03E17 Hurley says: "I'm moving as fast as I can. In case you haven't noticed, I'm not exactly The Flash." A strange lens flare appears in the camera on Hurley's face while he says "The Flash". --Meerkat 07:20, 24 April 2007 (PDT)

The other visable page[]

On the special features disc in one of the featurettes it shows a page of the book before the page of the polar bear. I cannot get the image out of my head it was of what looked like an underwater structure, an "Atlantis" if you will, that was a big blue dome with what looked like a city in it. The concept was a lot like the Looking Glass station. Which makes me think that the whole island may be under water. --Dazey2322 09:04, 17 May 2007 (PDT)

The image was of the alien's spaceship, embedded in the arctic ice. -- Cheers (talk) 09:15, 17 May 2007 (PDT)
Yes, which is why I would suggest the whole "Castle" part of the article and the byline of the image should be removed, as they're just a misinterpretation. It is a flying saucer embedded in the ice. The "castle" is just something that's built on top of the spaceship, and it's not transparent, it just reflects the sky. Anamon 04:02, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Comparisons[]

Man, those Green Lantern & Flash character comparisons with Lost characters are extremely generalized. Kinda like "Green Lantern has PARENTS. Flash has PARENTS. Lost characters have PARENTS. DUH CONNECTION!" This article covers the problem pretty well.--Nevermore 13:47, 27 May 2007 (PDT)

Yeah, I tend to agree. Take two expansive fictional stories, and you will find shared themes and circumstances. It's just not very significant. As it stands now, this table doesn't add anything meaningful to the article. -- Graft   talk   contributions  20:48, 12 October 2007 (PDT)

Viewtiful Joe[]

The back of the comic... which you can see rather clearly on the screenshot of Walt and Michael on the DVD image, has an advertisement for Viewtiful Joe. Is this worth mentioning? This game deals largely with time control and super abilities... which can be attributed to Walt's age change, as well as Desmond's time abilites in general. I just thought it would be an interesting thing to point out. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by LOST-Malion (talkcontribs) 2008-02-26T20:20:02.

Heh. I never knew anyone else noticed that. You should go for it. FaythOfFenrir 20:50, April 7, 2010 (UTC)

Wow...[]

I recently re-read this comic (read it for the first time about ten years ago)... and man, is this thing awful. So awful that I recomended it to Linkara for one of his Atop the Fourth Wall reviews. And the sad thing is, it's written by Ron Marz, who can be a decent writer. Part 2, written by Mark Waid, another decent writer, is also awful.

With all the literature "recommendations" the Lost writers have dropped on the show, this thing was pretty positvely just used because of the polar bear.--Nevermore 13:34, August 11, 2010 (UTC)
