"Golden Pass"[]

I added the pic from Jack's pigstye apartment. There is no "golden pass" per se. I think this is more of a figurative thing where he's on a list at Oceanic that allows him to get free tickets. Notice the ticket stubs strewn on the desk. There isn't a physical "golden ticket" like in Willy Wonka.    Jabberwock    talk    contribs    email   - 14:32, 24 May 2007 (PDT)

Well, I don't understand why the image is not working right now, because I uploaded it, it worked, and suddenly it shows some stupid error. What the hell? --Running 13:40, 25 May 2007 (PDT)
Its the wiki, we are experiencing some problems at the moment. Hopefully they will be fixed soon. -Mr.Leaf 13:43, 25 May 2007 (PDT)
OK, sorry for the bad words:) I just didnt know if its my fault or not --Running 13:52, 25 May 2007 (PDT)
I imagine they have some kind of membership card or something that lets them get free tickets. It isn't stated explicitly who gave them the passes, I believe the line is something like 'remember those golen passes they gave us?', not stating who 'they' are. I guess it is most likely the airline, but could it feasibly be someone else?Liquidcow 07:04, 6 June 2007 (PDT)

Oceanic Canon[]

Oceanic as a company started in 1974 and according to Michael Orteig the company had to go out of business because of the 815 plane crash after 25 years. This makes absolutely no sense as that would mean the company closed its doors in 1999!!! This fact is deutro-Canon, but still is a big mistake since the website that info comes from is official. This means that Jack should not be able to have a golden pass because 815 made the company go under. Do we just strike all the details from the Oceanic website based on this issue?--mac_ad 19:17, 24 May 2007 (PDT)
