Explosive thrown by Juliet?[]
While rewatching Exodus Part 2, I noticed that the crewmember that throws the explosive onto the raft is actually Juliet. Although the IMDB page does not credit Elizabeth Mitchell in the cast for the episode, it is pretty unmistakable that it is in fact Juliet. 3th0s 06:33, January 11, 2010 (UTC)
- Given that Elizabeth Mitchell was not cast until the hiatus between the 2nd and 3rd seasons, I doubt it's her. Jimbo the Tubby talk contributions 06:52, January 11, 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed. And anyway, I would more readily assume it's Colleen than Juliet. --Cul-de-zack 21:09, January 25, 2010 (UTC)
Trivia from IMDB[]
In the season finale, while they are building the raft, Michael instructs Jin, "No, this one goes there, that one goes there. Right?" This is a quote from Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) spoken by Han Solo to Chewbacca when the two are working on the Millennium Falcon. Later, while on the raft, Sawyer refers to them as Han and Chewie. -- LOSTonthisdarnisland 02:41, 30 May 2006 (PDT)

Hurley's Plate[]
Something I've added here and on the article page is an interesting little snippet that I noticed some months back. I was watching this episode specifically for random little things and picked up that Hurley's numberplate read 327 which as you'll all know do not relate to the numbers. To do this sort of thing is completely out of character for the show's writers and producers, especially in a section where they were intentionally using the numbers as much as possible. I decided that this must be intentional. Looking these up in several tables, I eventually found the old computer ASCII translation as 3 27 which word for word translates as "end" "escape", pull your own conclusions... User:Jturner 12:41, 04 Dec 2006 (GMT)
"well, if you multiply 3, 2 and 7, that's 42; then again, Hurley's not linked to 42 ... thta's all I've got." --stu4488 20:07, September 26, 2012 (UTC)
Flashbacks?[]
The page's infobox states the flashbacks were Jin, Charlie, Sayid, Michael, Hurley and Locke. When did Sayid flashback? His appearance was part of Jin's, just like he was part of Shannon's in Part One. Also, should Claire be mentioned? She actually did flashback to when she was fighting with Danielle. >: 4 8 15 16 23 42 06:33, 22 December 2006 (PST)
Rock Painting[]
As Sayid and Charlie walk along the coast to find Aaaron a strange rock painting can be seen in front of the camera. It features a man and a woman. It seems impossible to find a picture of this. I wonder if this was forgotten and will be explained later. --AHanso 09:14, 18 September 2007 (PDT)
I think this should be deleted. It is clearly not a drawing of any type but merely a color change due to dripping water. --Kain067 16:22, 24 June 2008 (PDT)
Rename[]
- Rename I wasn't the one who suggested the rename, but it makes enough sense to me, to match the way that the Pilot episodes' names are written on the site. Kbmusiclover, 6:06 P.M., 11 March 2007 (PDT)
- Rename I was the one who nominated it, but was in a real hurry and couldn't get the discussion up. It should be renamed for consistency. ShadowUltra 14:37, 18 March 2007 (PDT)
Once again, still kind of confused. It appears its up for a rename to be renamed to the same thing? Or am I missing something? Hooper talk contribs email 07:37, 21 March 2007 (PDT)
The change is the colon. I think the precedent for multi part episodes has been Title, Part X rather than Title: Part X. Hence the rename request. I think its petty, but everything should be consistent. --Samhain99 07:41, 21 March 2007 (PDT)
- Rename - Okay I see this now, and I'll agree that it should be consistent. Hooper talk contribs email 07:43, 21 March 2007 (PDT)
- Rename - and do the same to Exodus: Part 1.--Gateboy42 05:46, 24 March 2007 (PDT)
Rename[]
Per the new press releases, episode 5x14 is the 100th episode special. This means that, officially, this counts for 2 episodes and should be either split up or renamed to that effect. --Pyramidhead 03:02, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- Not just this finale, but every finale neds to be split into two "parts" to make the 100th episode line up to be 5x14. Also, the episode numbers on the Episodes: Portal page should be changed too. Marc604 06:57, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- Do NOT Rename to Exodus, Parts 2 & 3, because it is listed as Exodus, Part 2 on the DVD. The only reason we have There's No Place Like Home, Parts 2 & 3 is because that's what the episode was titled in the ABC listings and on the DVD. There's no reason to add a Part 3 to Exodus. Michael Lucero * Talk * Contributions
- But Aobozu, the S3 finale on the DVD lists "Through the Looking Glass Part 1" and "Part 2" -- yet here at Lostpedia it's only listed as one episode. We need to be consistent. Either always go with what the DVD says (which means you're right; leave it alone) or ignore what the DVD says and change it to two parts, like the S3 did for the finale. Marc604 02:22, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Or, we could do what we've done all along and be consistent with the original broadcast which splits Exodus into "Part 1" and "Part 2"; Live Together Die Alone as one episode; Through the Looking Glass as one episode; There's No Place Like Home into "Part 1" and "Parts 2 & 3"; and the upcoming season 5 finale (as mentioned on the podcast) as one episode. Jimbo the Tubby talk contributions 02:28, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Agreed, we should not rename it. It's perfectly reasonable to consider it as two episodes while retaining the name as has been presented elsewhere. The DVDs and the syndication are not the only options. Jimbo the Tubby talk contributions 23:01, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- Rename and split, in fact, I think the article should be split, as it has aired in 3 parts in other countries, with a note that they aired back to back. (In fact, I was just wondering the other day whose flashbacks are featured in part 3, (and not 2) and I couldn't find the information ... so yeah, split is the way to go. --LeoChris 01:19, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Disagree - We should stick to ABC, who name the episode "Exodus, Part 2." Plus, as far as I'm aware the episode is only split on Region 2 and 4 DVD's (although, I may be wrong) --Jamie-0408 17:45, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Agree rename or split it doesnt matter we need to keep up with the way abc recognizes these episodes and they say season 1 has 25 episodes. --Czygan84 23:56, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
This discussion is currently happening in about 5 or 6 pages. Please continue it here so that we can get everyone in a single spot. Jimbo the Tubby talk contributions 05:01, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
Arzt in Part 3[]
- He clearly appears in the final flashback, so I added him to the infobox for part 3 ... I've included him as uncredited, since I couldn't find a source that credited him (duh!) but I admit I didn't look very far. So if anyone can confirm he was credited for that appearance (maybe someone with foreign, split, dvds ?) then please go ahead and correct the article. --LeoChris 06:54, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Degrassi Reference[]
'Degrassi - The Next Generation' referenced LOST and specifically this episode in one of it's recent episodes. I'm not sure which section this should go in, if any.
Odds are, it'd go in the cultural references section. What's the reference, exactly, though? If you let us know maybe we can help you categorize it. Jimbo the Tubby talk contributions 06:19, October 25, 2009 (UTC)
Arzt's "error"[]
This is currently under the Bloopers and Continuity Errors section, but I think it should be Trivia:
"The story Arzt tells about the discovery of nitroglycerin is incorrect. The man who discovered it, Ascanio Sobrero, survived his experiments."
Considering the producers have gone on record saying that Arzt is an "idiot," I think this gaffe is actually a choice for the character rather than a writing oversight, but I don't want to move it if people disagree. --Cul-de-zack 21:11, January 25, 2010 (UTC)

Exodus Part 2[]
- Since all the other 2-hour season finales are split up in the boxes (eg. Through the Looking Glass Part 1, and Through the Looking Glass Part 2) shouldn't this one be split up as well? I realize why we aren't making 2 compleely different articles for the 2-hour season finales, but why shouldn't we split it into "Exodus Part 2" and Exodus Part 3" on in the box at the top of each season 1 episode page? I know that was worded horribly, but hopefully you get what I mean...haha. --SethFlight815 14:28, March 14, 2010 (UTC)
Hugo[]
"Hurley would become the only character to appear in every single episode of season 1 and 2, excluding "The Other 48 Days" with a speaking role and appearence in the main Island story." Um...yeah, he would have appeared in every episode if you exclude the one he didn't appear in? Huh? Doesn't that mean he didn't appear in every episode of seasons 1 and 2? --Golden Monkey 14:34, March 14, 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I think the point is that "The Other 48 Days" wasn't really a "normal" episode, since it was completely a flashback and it concentrated on the Tailies...but I see your point. --SethFlight815 14:40, March 14, 2010 (UTC)
Order of on the island[]
I just started watching lost, and I have been following along the episodes with the wiki to see if i really want to get into it or not...
just thought i would point out that the order of events for the "on the island" section of this and part 1 are way off...
that is all... thanks
Bound008 08:43, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, but could you be more specific? If there's something that obviously needs to be fixed, go ahead and fix it. Like the rest of us, you're an editor! (Ya gotta get your feet wet sometime.)--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 14:11, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
Walt's Kidnappers[]
Hey, dunno if anyone is interested but I think these twin brothers [1] play Walt's kidnappers - I don't know if you guys have articles for unnamed characters here, or if these characters pop up later in the show, or if you do pages for stunt performers.--Acer4666 23:49, March 31, 2011 (UTC)
Candidate rules[]
Cosnidering they said in S6 that MiB can't touch candidates - how was he able to drag Locke in this episode? And would Locke die if he were to fall? Gevorg89 (talk) 19:57, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
