Proposed page move[]

I propose to move this to "Drug smugglers' plane". The capitalization is in line with Wikipedia conventions [1] which are used because they're handier for a wiki (you can write Boone was killed in the drug smugglers' plane rather than Boone was killed in the drug smugglers' plane). The apostrophe is a plural possessive - see [2], in particular the example "dogs'". Sound OK? ciphergoth 10:01, 17 April 2006 (PDT)

Sounds like a good idea. LOSTonthisdarnisland 22:54, 11 May 2006 (PDT)
Then why hasn't it been done? --Ramirez Selvarn 11:21, 19 May 2006 (PDT)
How do you do it? --Amberjet11 11:24, 19 May 2006 (PDT)
Umm...not sure. I'm looking through the Editing guide right now. It might be that a SysOp/Admin has to be the one to change a page's title. --Ramirez Selvarn 11:25, 19 May 2006 (PDT)
Moved to the grammatically correct title. ---- Ramirez Selvarn

Registration[]

Trivia, which may or may not be useful. The registration number N3758A belongs, in real life to a "Whittinghill Javin" in Lania, Maui. The FAA record for the plane indicates that it may have been taken out of service (possibly as a prop for the series?). The registration prefix 5Z- is normally assigned to military aircraft registered in Kenya.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Zzyzxuk (talkcontribs) .

 • Can we have a comparison of two screencaps where we can see the different call numbers used? 5Z-GWN6 vs. N3785A. -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯  Talk  22:37, 19 December 2006 (PST)

ARGH.[]

The last edits, while adding some information, use extremely bad grammer, spelling and parsing. In addition, some of the conclusions drawn make no sense. Anyone volunteering for a clean-up?--Nevermore 10:49, 8 February 2008 (PST)

Unanswered Mystery[]

How can this be listed as a mystery that has been solved? It is anything but. The show has not explained how the island's "Magnetic properties" was able to bring a plane over 10x as far as it's capable of flying. Without this explanation, the only possible explanation would be that the island was within range of Nigeria at the time the plane took off (which they have not divulged either). --Sfscott 21:49, May 3, 2010 (UTC)scott

It is marked solved because we know of it's origin. The Island's properties and the island itself is still marked unsolved, which is the proper thing to do. --Avindratalkcontribs email  03:35, May 4, 2010 (UTC)

Rename[]

We always call the plane "the Beechcraft". Why not name the article that? --- Balk Of Fametalk 15:15, January 8, 2011 (UTC)

Yes Agree Julietfan2626 Talk Blogs 15:41, January 8, 2011 (UTC)

Yes Agree too. --Station7 21:31, January 8, 2011 (UTC)

Yes - The plane was referred to as the, or a beechcraft many times in the show. We should reflect that.--Baker1000 00:06, January 9, 2011 (UTC)
