Important Moments[]

There's a moment in 'Confirmed Dead' where Jack says that Locke now has Charlotte. Look at Daniels face right after that, he looks devistated. --<BauerUK> tlk | cnt | www | irc 10:26, 6 May 2008 (PDT)

Add it! PS new discussions are supposed to go on the bottom! ;p danhm 10:31, 6 May 2008 (PDT)

Hot[]

That is the hotest and sexiest romance ever on Lost. - TheAma1 08:57, 16 February 2008 (PST)

Most definitely. I can't wait for Charlotte to angrily force Faraday into some awkward loving. Froglars 17:19, 3 May 2008 (PDT)
...at the rape caves. Yeah, I totally see it now. - TheAma1 10:30, 6 May 2008 (PDT)

External links[]

The "fan website dedicated entirely to the Charlotte/Daniel romance" appears to be nothing more than an embedded YouTube video of part of an episode. The fan literature is just some really clunkily written soft-core porn. I think they should be removed as neither of these links do anything for the quality or encyclopedic nature of the site.--TechNic|talk|conts 22:26, 4 May 2008 (PDT)

To be fair almost all fan literature is clunkily written soft-core porn. Froglars 08:01, 5 May 2008 (PDT)
Lol! Too true, too true. Although that video link should be re-named... --meggie ~ Talk & contribs 15:56, 6 May 2008 (PDT)

Caregiver[]

Is it possible that Daniel's caregiver, who asks him why he's crying as he watches the news item about Oceanic 815, is Charlotte?--Gaarmyvet 11:09, 6 May 2008 (PDT)

It is possible, but I don't recall his caregiver having a British accent. danhm 15:40, 6 May 2008 (PDT)
I looked at this scene: I thought the voice of the caregiver was not Charlotte's.--Salvora 15:52, 6 May 2008 (PDT)

Good point about the accent, although she spoke briefly. Can someone do a voiceprint analysis<grin>? Of course, we could just wait and find out.--Gaarmyvet 13:13, 7 May 2008 (PDT)

As I'm pretty sure I've noted elsewhere, the caregiver was blonde, stocky, and American, and yeah, the timbre of the voice sounded off for Charlotte.--Apeliotes 16:22, 7 May 2008 (PDT)

oxford?[]

were they there together? daniel was a lecturer at oxford and charlotte received her phd at oxford Fredcar 14:55, 6 May 2008 (PDT)

It is certainly a possibility but un-confirmed as of yet --meggie ~ Talk & contribs 15:54, 6 May 2008 (PDT)
Since Charlotte did her undergrad work elsewhere, I'm not sure it's all that likely they did much interacting (though they may have known each other through friends), but the numbers work out for them being there at the same time if we assume Daniel stuck around Oxford for some time and only moved back to the US a couple of years before present time at the most.--Apeliotes 16:22, 7 May 2008 (PDT)

charlotte is way out of his league[]

in the real world she would ignore faraday. She's sticking with him now because its practical.Petrarch1603 14:04, 10 May 2008 (PDT)

Out of his league in what sense? Faraday appears to be brilliant, although he does not communicate well with other people who are not his intellectual, subject-matter peers.--Jim 14:48, 10 May 2008 (PDT)
That's the beauty of the Island. It gives you things you wouldn't otherwise have. :-) Robert K S (talk) 15:57, 10 May 2008 (PDT)

I think this thing needs to "promoted" out of Fanon.--Jim 06:44, 16 May 2008 (PDT)

It is Fanon by its very nature. It's about a fan term. To be 'promoted' to a regular article it would need quite a bit of editing to alter its style and content.--TechNic|talk|conts 05:56, 17 May 2008 (PDT)

Rename[]

Good content here. Why stick it under this silly fanon heading? We could instead list the shipper nicknames under a heading and redirect the names here. --- Balk Of Fametalk 06:23, August 16, 2010 (UTC)

  • No The shipper nicknames are well known and have a clear meaning. ``Charlotte & Faraday`` is just vague. Using something as ``Charlotte & Faraday's relationship`` is unnecessarly long... I say we should keep the current name. --LeoChris 18:00, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
  • No I agree with what LeoChris said. --  Blackout0189    talk    contribs    email   17:24, August 21, 2010 (UTC)
