Can someone more knowledgeable than myself place some valid information here, and possibly some of the debate? --Ridan 22:58, 6 July 2006 (PDT)
- This needs more if it wants to qualify as a proper LostPedia article! --SilvaStorm
- second. (but silvastorm, ive noticed a couple of articles that you posted that are now up for deletion bear the same if not less content than this does) Brian 12:08, 11 July 2006 (PDT)
- Delete - the only reason to keep this is for nostalgic purposes about how for a long time some people thought it was a new logo etc --Nickb123 (Talk) 12:57, 8 July 2006 (PDT)

- Delete--We cannot have an article with just a couple of sentences. It's a waste of server power and time.--Gateboy42 07:18, 10 July 2006 (PDT)
Reading the talk page from 'The Logos', it does not seem to me that the issue is settled by any means. There are a few stalwarts who believe that it is the Staff logo, and a few who believe otherwise. Both have convincing arguments. I made the page to hopefully stop the debate from spilling onto 'The Logos' main page again. But if this isn't a proper article, go ahead and delete it. --Ridan 23:02, 8 July 2006 (PDT)
- It was pretty much settled by the script coördinator. --Peephole 15:03, 9 July 2006 (PDT)
- If it's been confirmed by the script coordinator, why not merge it with The Logos? - BlahDeBlahblah 15:21, 9 July 2006 (PDT)
- Then why is it horizontal without any snake? This is like when first the shark logo is fake then oops it was real. You can't trust anything they tell you.--Tricksterson 12:32, 11 July 2006 (PDT)
- Oh and Delete there's nothing here that isn't already covered in the Logos section.--Tricksterson 12:32, 11 July 2006 (PDT)
- Keep I expanded the article a bit since I noticed there's alot of articles about less notable items. A reason to keep this article? --Peephole 08:51, 19 July 2006 (PDT)
- Hmm... It's getting there. We need to scoop out the left over information from the bottom of the frying pan though, this article needs more still. --Gateboy42 09:10, 28 July 2006 (PDT)
- This logo (the straight line as on the shark) is also on the bottle of water that Juliette offers to jack in "A tale of two cities" when she offers him the grilled cheese sandwhich.User:Kojak k
Ending the Controversy[]
Guys, guys.... Isn't it sufficient to say that "Ethan's canteen had a DHARMA logo on it - Claire said the water tasted unusually sour", and leave it at that? Logically, it would be the Staff logo, since everything /else/ in that station has the same logo. But the logo on the canteen is so indistinct, there's no decent shots of it, and (most annoyingly) Claire's hand is covering it when she's drinking from it in a close-up shot. Personally, no matter how many times I watch the episode, or look at various screenshots, I see a blurry white octagonal logo with an obscured center - to me, it doesn't look like the Staff logo, or any *other* specific logo. It's just a kind of generic DHARMA-octagon. So why not just reword the article to mention that the canteen is DHARMA-branded, but without mention to any specific logo? Would that make everyone happy? --Shodan1138 20:06, 8 September 2006 (PDT)
rename?[]
I'm almost think we should rename this to include Juliet's canteen. We also need a screenshot for Juliet's canteen. -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯ Talk 21:35, 28 October 2006 (PDT)
- Agree: It should be renamed. --CrystalSkull 14:18, 30 October 2006 (PST)
- Rename... if you do, you should rename to Canteens (plural), and have Canteen (singular) redirect. Then you could add both caps. --PandoraX 18:50, 3 November 2006 (PST)
