Who is this fellow?--Mistertrouble189 20:36, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

I can't find anything said by him in the transcript. However, the press release doesn't list him, but I think I remember seeing the actor's name in the credits...--Golden Monkey 21:06, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

He is a Flight 316 passenger, seen in the scene when Frank is informing the other Ajira castaways about their situation and Caesar argues to search the Hydra station. ([1]) He doesn't have any lines, even though the actor Brad William Henke is credited as "guest starring" in the opening credits. Hopefully we will see more of him - Henke has done some nice acting in other productions. --Pierre 21:39, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
POSSIBLE SPOILER when link is clicked. Not major though, but be warned.
  • I thought it was him as the he was focused in on for a second. What should his character page be? "Flight 316 survivor"?--Mistertrouble189 21:49, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
  • Nevermind I didn't realize his character name was Bram.--Mistertrouble189 21:50, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
  • He is probably in a deleted scene or something, similar to the Barfly. Plus Rosie didn't appear (right?) when she was credited.--Mistertrouble189 00:05, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

Relevence[]

I propose removing the following trivia points:

  • Bram Stoker is the author of Dracula, the most famous "undead" person in literature. Bram is usually a nickname for Abraham, as it was for Stoker. Stoker also wrote The Lair of the White Worm and The Jewel of Seven Stars. The first is about an ancient serpent living under an English manor, leading its inhabitants to the occult. The latter is about an attempt to reanimate an Egyptian mummy.
  • Bram Cohen is the author of the bittorrent filesharing tool.

They are not relevent because we have no way of knowing that his name is based on either of these two people. Why don't we just list every person named Bram, then?  Jimbo the Tubby  talk  contributions  07:20, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

I agree. Until we know it is relevant, we shouldn't post random trivia because it has a chance of being relevant. Permafry 42 14:05, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

  • Disagree - it is a trivia section, by definition meaning "not essential." Seriously, Bram Stoker and who else named Bram? Stoker is the big one. Dracula-undead, see podcast comments about the undead (Yemi/Christian/Kate's Horse). Ancient serpent - smoke monster. Egyptian mummies - the temple, reanimation (Locke/Christian). I think the Bram Stoker stuff is a relevant influence on the show. Jack Dutton 06:00, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
