Could Kate's friend "Beth" possibly be the same as the woman Christian Shepherd killed when he operated on her while drunk? The botched operation happened about two months before Christian's death. Kate was on the run so she likely wouldn't know about it, and this show has a habit of connecting characters through their back stories. There's no real evidence supporting this, but it's no more outlandish than many other character connection theories. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by LOST-Gutsdozer (talkcontribs) .

This article is so pointless...haha. There's nothing here. Just a name.--Mistertrouble189 10:07, 20 September 2008 (PDT)

She was mentioned on the show. Thus, keep.-- Sam McPherson  T  C  E  16:27, 30 September 2008 (PDT)
  • Keep: There are many articles that may seem pointless, but we have to include articles about all characters seen or mentioned on Lost. -- CTS  Talk   Contribs 16:44, 30 September 2008 (PDT)
  • Delete. This entire thing is based on a piece of throw-away dialogue from four years ago. Dharmacakra Kevrock   talk  contribs   08:34, 2 October 2008 (PDT)
But she is a named character. Therefore, keep per policy. The only way I see this being deleted would be a major policy change. -- Sam McPherson  T  C  E  15:21, 2 October 2008 (PDT)
