Earhart = Eve?[]
I removed this sentence since I found it to be a theory rather than directly related to any (current) information the show has given about Amelia Earhart:
- Fans have speculated that Adam and Eve, the two bodies discovered by Jack and Kate in the cave, are actually the remains of Earhart and Noonan. ("House of the Rising Sun")
However, I am open to discussion about whether this is appropriate for this page. --Michaelisinthecoffin 07:24, 27 March 2008 (PDT)
- I think you're absolutely right to remove it. In my opinion, Lost will only ever touch on Earhart as a reference (herarat) in the same way as they use many other famous names for their fictional characters. They may also reference her vanishing as an example of a similar type of mystery (as in Find 815), but they will never include her directly in the show. Having so carefully created this fictional universe, they will not muddle the two worlds. Also, bear in mind that Earhart still has living relatives, so any fictionalisation/dramatisation of her would be a very difficult thing to do.--TechNic|talk|conts 07:36, 27 March 2008 (PDT)
- Wow, yeah, I didn't even think of that, TechNic... it might make someone a little upset seeing the (dramatized) decaying corpse of their relative! --Michaelisinthecoffin 08:09, 27 March 2008 (PDT)
