KEEP this page

Can someone tell me why this page was nominated for deletion?! I'll be upset if it does. Many of the international fans on other forums were linked this page, which has tons of useful information for them. --PandoraX 11:44, 4 July 2006 (PDT)

It's gone now. --SilvaStorm 00:57, 5 July 2006 (PDT)
Thanks Silva for clearing it up (that it was accidental)... take care! --PandoraX 08:25, 5 July 2006 (PDT)
No prob. :o) --SilvaStorm

New Zealand

I'm doing a list of airdates for New Zealand on the first season, so just ignore the fact that it's blank for the time being. I'll be putting dates in as I find them out. --SilvaStorm

Ah, yeah I was wondering why that was blank. I tried the TVNZ website, but they only have upto Ep 9 of the first season. Have fun trying to find the rest :D - Lannah.

Will do, thanks. --SilvaStorm

  • I'm considering researching and adding a section on the pre-airdate screening premieres of various Lost season premieres. S1's Pilot had at least two large pre-airdate screenings, and S2 had at least one as well. It would just be a smalll bulleted subhead section at the end of this article, but I can't think of anywhere to put it other than to create an article for "premieres" or "previews". -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯  Talk

Not in portland

shouldn't the date for this be added to the season 3 table? im new to this so sorry if there's a 'no posting before airing' policy Thatperson 14:50, 6 January 2007 (PST)

  • Hey man welcome to Lostpedia. The reason we don't have "Not in Portland" listed is because we don't know which episode it will air as.--CaptainInsano 14:56, 6 January 2007 (PST)
    • Well what about now, now that's officially the 7th episode? David 11:49, 21 January 2007 (PST)
  • I agree now that 'Not in Portland' is the official title it should be added to the table. THE MONSTER .

2.23 and 2.24

As episodes 1.24 "Exodus, Part 2" and 1.25 "Exodus, Part 3" are separated, shouldn't episodes 2.23 "Live Together, Die Alone, Part 1" and 2.24 "Live Together, Die Alone, Part 2" be separated, as in most coutnries they aired on 2 different nights? Just my thoughts David 20:43, 22 January 2007 (PST)

Yeah I agree. It is split in two on the D.V.D as well. --Princess Dharma (banned), 10:49, 1 February 2007 (PST)

Rename to "Airdates" to remove unnecessary "Lost" in title. --   Lost Soul   talk  contribs  10:03, 1 February 2007 (PST)

No Airdates of lost seems fine to me and it sounds better anyway. And also if you got rid of the "Lost" in the title it would be called "Airdates of". Now that wouldn't make any sense would it? DrGiggles
  • Well, when I say remove "Lost" I also mean "of". Hence why on the template it says I want it renamed to "Airdates" not "Airdates Of". --   Lost Soul   talk  contribs  05:45, 3 February 2007 (PST)
  • Well, Obviously DrGiggles
Stop being antagonistic. I'd vote no. The title Airdates of Lost is fine as it is, and Airdates redirects here anyway. -- Plkrtn  talk  contribs  email  01:31, 5 February 2007 (PST)
  • Sure it makes sense to remove the "of Lost" part, otherwise any other page on this site would have "of Lost" in its title. Pechisbeque 17:50, 7 February 2007 (PST)
  • Yes - this change would follow what we have been doing with other articles (Renaming them by removing "Lost") -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯  Talk  23:11, 8 February 2007 (PST)
  • Yes For the reasons by Santa..I don't really see much sense in using "for Lost" label in a Lost wiki..-- 00:32, 12 February 2007 (PST)
  • Yes - I would even propose another title "Worldwide Airdates" - Pechisbeque 07:05, 13 February 2007 (PST)
  • Yes - Santa's reason. -Chris[dt7] 07:23, 13 February 2007 (PST)
  • Yes Unnecessary, given we're not making articles on Airdates of Grey's Anatomy. --PandoraX 20:39, 14 February 2007 (PST)
  • Yes; the of Lost is redundent. As stated before. Like i am now.--Ex-Pope Cardinal Richard Corey 22:35, 16 February 2007 (PST)

For the industrious volunteer:

  1. Japan's airdates for S3 are here
  2. Hungary's airdates for S2 and S3 are here
  3. South Korea's airdates are here
  4. There will be a clip show before the Season 5 finale could someone please add that. (I tried and failed) --cgmv123My Page My Talk 18:57, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Break apart this page

This page should be broken up. It's listed as the longest page in the wiki. I suggest making each section as a new page and keeping Airdates as a portal page.    Jabberwock    talk    contribs    email   - 10:00, 19 March 2007 (PDT)

A solution relatively similar, make each Season it's own template, and just add the templates to this page, meaning all 4 pages would be a lot smaller. It is in essence the same just a little less work for the casual browser. -Mr.Leaf 10:02, 19 March 2007 (PDT)

I have done this for Season 1 and Season 2 only. The templates can be found at Template:Airdates-S1 and Template:Airdates-S2. I left Season 3 on their as it is still edited often. I realize Season 2 is probably editing a bit too still, so if you wish, someone can remove the second chart from the Season 2 template, move it back and move the section on the TV stations into it's own template at I don't think it is edited very often. And if you guys really don't like this idea, feel free to make this into a portal page and make separate pages for each Season although I think that would make it more complicated with the tv stations chart, etc. -Mr.Leaf 10:17, 19 March 2007 (PDT)
I agree, there is just too much detail in this page. Episodes air dates should be on each country page. I would leave only the list of countries, Networks and DVD availability. The rest could very well be on each particulary country--Seba5618 15:40, 16 April 2007 (PDT)seba5618

Add Mobisode airdates

  • Do we need to add Mobisode airdates to this article? Or should a separate article be created? -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯  Talk  00:39, 6 December 2007 (PST)

Video on demand

Should the dates of the availability of the episodes on VOD be listed? In France season 4 will be available 24h after airing in the US on "TF1 Vision", in english with french subtitles... The "Past, present and future" special is already available. S3phy 01:48, 1 February 2008 (PST)

Two part finale

If the finale is a two parter, wouldn't there be a 13b on May 29th? Does anyone know for sure either way on this? --Minderbinder 14:00, 2 April 2008 (PDT)

There will be 13 episodes. The two part finale is counted as episode 12 and 13, which of course air on separate weeks.--Baker1000 15:19, 2 April 2008 (PDT)
Actually, a number of sources say 14 hours of LOST this season, the latest saying 412 on May 15 then a two hour 413 on May 29. [2]. Too much of a rumor to add to the page at this point, but we should know officially soon. --Minderbinder 15:39, 11 April 2008 (PDT)
Now that is officially confirmed that there will be 14 hours and not all countries will air hour 13 & 14 on the same night, an extra column should be added right? FrankdelaCoste 02:47, 8 May 2008 (PDT)

Javascript problem

There's an unresponsive script in this article in the season 1 airdates template. Being rather new to this editing business, should this be reported somewhere other than here (thought there was a list of broken pages somewhere but can't find it)? FrankdelaCoste 14:23, 14 April 2008 (PDT)

Page should be updated with air dates for the three-hour special of Season 5, season 4 should probably go in a fixed template by now. I'd do it myself but I've not yet familiarised myself with the wiki table/templates. Freekazoid 19:36, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Ireland -Season 5

Not yet familiar with template editing but the first two episodes of Season 5 are due to be shown in Ireland on RTÉ 2 on Sunday 25th Jan 09. Niall88 15:55, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Thank you. I have added it to the article.--Baker1000 17:10, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Ireland - recap episodes

"A Journey in Time" was actually aired in Ireland on 16 May 2009, not 17th as stated.

Also, for the season 2 episode "Reckoning" , this episode was not shown in Ireland, so could be filled in as N/A as done for the UK. Niall88 19:09, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
