Sweetzer's Identity
- He is Bram. Bram is affiliated with Ilana in the original timeline and we don't know his last name.
- He is Jacob, and is still working with Ilana (& now Desmond) in the alternate timeline in order to make sure things happen the way they should. He is also a powerful man of the city that has an avenue named after him. We know that Los Angeles has a pocket of energy underneath it (just like the Island does). This is how Jacob draws power.
The names
Lost writers love scientists and philosophers. The law firm's name -- Sweetzer & Verdansky -- is a thinly veiled reference to two famous scientist/philosophers - Albert Schweitzer and Vladimer Vernadsky.
