Speakers used for communication in The Hydra

Speakers have been seen multiple times on the island.

Appearences

• The Swan, speakers are placed around The Swan to inform of when the countdown timer nears the end, lockdowns and System Failures.
• The Pearl, there are speakers in The Pearl, but their function is unconfirmed. Most likely audio from the feed from The Swan
• The Hydra, there are speakers in Jack's cell and inside and outside the cages.
  • In Jack's cell, they are used for communication
  • Inside Sawyer's cage they are used to notify when a prize is given or warn when pushing the knife and fork button
  • Speakers along the pathway near the cages play a loud siren when the Others are bringing Jack to the Hydra Operation Room, preventing Jack from hearing Kate or Sawyer.
  • On the promontory where Ben shows Sawyer the view of the island, though these were silent.
• Otherville, there are speakers along the pathways of Otherville, their purpose is unknown.

• The whispers are transmitted via hidden speakers throughout the island, all connected through Dharmatel.
