General

• Shannon's father actually did leave a will which provided for his daughter, but Sabrina destroyed the will so she wouldn't have to share the money with the stepdaughter she hated.
• Shannon is capable of representing Lust & Sloth. Two of the Seven Deadly Sins. (Religion)
• Is Jae Lee's American woman
• Had a relationship with Desmond.

SAYID: Do you have a past in the Navy you neglected to tell me about? 
SHANNON: Why? 
SAYID: How does a woman like you learn to tie a perfect bolen knot? 
SHANNON: By dating guys with sailboats?

• Shannon's mother is Olivia goodspeed,before the purge Olivia met Adam Rutherford outside of the Island and had an affair with him,her relationship with Horace was failing,so she divorced him and married Adam and gave birth to Shannon,then Adam divorced her and didn't want her to see Shannon because he found out the true intentions of the DHARMA Initiative which were bad and he didn't want Shannon to have anything to do with the DHARMA initiative.
• Her husband was Ben Linus and they divorced because Ben was going to the Island too much and Shannon divorced him because of that.
• There are other possibilities for who could be her mother

• • All four of them are too young to have a daughter in her 20's. Do all these theories have a support, or are we just throwing guesses here?
    • If Sarah, Libby, and Juliet are aroud the same age as Jack, they could have given birth in their late teens and put the child up for adoption.

Death

• The Monster in the form of Walt, led her to Ana Lucia, who killed her.
• Died in "Hearts & Minds" and Monster took the shape of her later on.
• Was killed because she was meant to be in the front section of the plane.
• Shannon may still be alive, in Abandoned there were whispers and Walt appeared, maybe Shannon was abducted by the Others like Cindy and then the Monster took her form to fool Sayid and Ana Lucia into hating each other and causing strife among the survivors of Flight 815, for unknown reasons like most of what the Monster does.
• Shannon's ghost will appear to Sayid in the future telling him he has to go back to the Island just like Charlie appears to Hurley.
• After the Island was moved,she will come back to life and participate in the war against Charles Widmore and the people who work for him.

Pregnancy

• Shannon fell pregnant after she slept with Sayid in "Abandoned".
  • The Others were aware of this and therefore they asked Michael to kill Ana Lucia because she had prevented Shannon from becoming their test case.
    • Ben told Michael that the Others never asked him to kill Ana or Libby. ("Meet Kevin Johnson")
      • Ben seems to lie and twist things around just a bit.
  • We don't know how the Others get their information.
• Shannon is pregnant and is now living with the Others after they had taken her.
  • Unlikely as we witness shannon being shot and killed.
    • The Monster had taken the form of Shannon before being shot.
      • Seems very unlikly this would happen.
• Walt might have overheard that the Others knew about her pregnancy and were going to capture her. In order to save her, he tries to use his possible power of projecting his image to her as a warning.
• No one can determine pregnancy just after the night of intercourse.
• Shannon could have fallen pregnant to Boone the night before the crash.
  • That would explain why she told Sayid that being on the Island had made her feet swell.
  • Not every sexual intercourse necessarily leads to pregnancy. There are contraceptive means, you know... And also other various reasons that prevent a woman from becoming pregnant at that precise time. ("Hearts and Minds")
