Almost every character who has had sex on the Island who has had some punishment.

• Shannon and Sayid have sex — Shannon dies in that same episode and Sayid in Season 6.
• Ana Lucia and Sawyer have sex — Ana dies in that same episode.
• Libby and Hurley were going to have a picnic, but Hurley forgot the blankets. Libby went to the Hatch to get the blankets to have a late night picnic. She might have died to prevent them from having sex that night.
• Paulo and Nikki have sex in a deleted scene — they both die.
• Charlie and Claire are said to have had sex in an unused script — Charlie dies.
• Juliet and Goodwin have sex - they both died.
• Sun and Jin have sex - they both died.
• Colleen and Danny Picket might have been having sex and they both died.
• Alex and Karl might have been having sex and they both died.
• Danielle and Robert had sex - they both died.
• Sayid and Ilana almost had sex - they both died.
