  • Given Mikhail and Ms Klugh's nonchalance and eagerness to be killed, it seemed that they were clearly unphased by the idea of death, perhaps they knew they didnt need to be, given the re-appearance of many other dead characters it seems plausable to at least consider that all who die on the island are somehow reborn, not metaphorically but actually physically. In conjunction with this line of thought, its possible that Karl may be one of many Karl's that have been caught and killed before and when we saw him being brainwashed, he was in fact just being programmed with his memories.
