Main Discussion
Theories may be removed if ...
  1. Stated as questions or possibilities (avoid question marks, "Maybe", "I think", etc).
  2. More appropriate for another article.
  3. Illogical or previously disproven.
  4. Proven by canon source, and moved to main article.
  5. Speculative and lacking any evidence to support arguments.
  6. Responding to another theory (use discussion page instead).
  • This does not include responses that can stand alone as its own theory.
  • Usage of an indented bullet does not imply the statement is a response.

Identity

  • Regina, RG could stand for ReGina. Regina would have had Naomi's bracelet engraved so that she would "always be with her" when Naomi was on missions.
    • Regina could be Naomi's lover/partner.
    • Regina could be Naomi's sister, which also explains why Naomi says "Tell my sister I love her": Naomi's sister was on the boat.
      • Miles says that "Tell my sister I love her" was a code message, but he could have been lying for Daniel didn't know "tell my sister I love her."
      • Regina is played by Zoë Bell, who has little resemblance to Marsha Thomason (who plays Naomi). Regina, however, could be Naomi's adopted sister.
  • RG stands for initials (like "Robert Grant") or for two names (like "Mary Jane" or "Billy Jo").
  • RG is Naomi's romantic interest, for Naomi's job involves her being away for long times, thus her lover engraves the bracelet to remind her that they are together - emotionally.
  • The Economist
  • Mrs. Gardner or someone else in the Gardner family.
  • Elsa appeared to be wearing a similar bracelet. Given that she was double-crossing Sayid, Elsa might not be her real name.
*Elsacould be wearing the same brazelet as Sayid could have given it to her. He could vave taken it from Naomi's dead body. Did he know Naomi before or did he recognise the brazelet?
    • Elsa's demanding boss ("the economist") who Sayid is sent to kill, is also Naomi's boss. Sayid also said in this episode, "We all have a boss."
  • R.G. is no one. The phrase on the bracelet is a code which identifies her to certain other members of her organization.
    • Only individuals with a certain rank or role in the organization wear one: Elsa wore a bracelet like it for the same reason.
      • Lindelof states in this week's Entertainment Weekly that there is no connection betwen the bracelets worn by Naomi and Elsa (Elsa's bracelet is "just a bracelet").
    • Alternatively, the phrase on the bracelet is simply meaningless and a cover-up for the true meaning, and it's the bracelet itself that is important.
  • R.G stands for Republican Guard, of which we know Sayid was a member of. Therefore: "Naomi, I will always be with you. **It's unlikely that Ruth would have that particular photo of Desmond and Penny.
    • The writing on the bracelet says "Nadia, I'll always be with you. Republican Guard"
  • Goodwin Stanhope - Given the freighter people's interest in the non-815 islanders (Desmond, Ben), and Goodwin's possible military history (not to mention the history of romantic entanglement), he could easily have enough in common with Naomi to be R.G.
    • Goodwin is his middle name - his first starts with R, ie. Robert Goodwin.
  • Ray, the doctor on the freighter.
  • Captain Gault, whose first name is currently unknown.
  • R.G is Regina. She throws herself off the boat when she learns of Naomi's death.
    • That is not why Regina jumped off the boat. The captain said that it was because of being so close to the island. Many crew member were suffering, Regina was just a "red shirt" to show the effects of the sickness that the island caused. --Schwa 22:46, 6 June 2008 (PDT)
  • R.G. is Ben. Ben is known to have many names and to lie to many people. The fact that they were going to capture Ben from the Island sounds like a motive for Naomi to want to come to the Island. Ben could've tricked her into getting what he wanted (big shocker there!) and he gave her the bracelet as proof that he "loved her".
  • R.G. is Elsa. Which is not her real name. Elsa and Naomi are life partners and use a bracelet to mark their relationship.--Hurleyfan23 22:58, 28 August 2008 (PDT)
